I have an old truck that wasn’t starting .Tow truck company said to buy a new battery. i headed to auto zone where Jose took real good care of me . Got the right battery for my truck and installed it for me all within a 1/2 hour. Excellent service and he was so very helpful. i recommend this place 100%.

I stopped in needing assistance with getting my oil cap opened. Quartez(hope I spelled it right) immediately offered assistance. Not only did he help me get the cap off, he put the oil in my car, checked it, and offered me pointers. It was super cold, but he went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. I really appreciate you, Q. Thanks a million!!

I waled in with a simple question and walked out humiliated, the tall African American guy proceded to make jokes at my ezpense amd i left the store in tears. I will never set foot in that store. Women find a frendly store.

It's New Years Eve and I went into the Waukegan Auto zone for a headlight( 11:40am -I didn't get their names) The young man at counter was very helpful & offered to help install . This may normally be very quick & easy ....in this case, it was not. It was 34° drizzling rain, hard to get to & the seal was super stubborn . 20 minutes later a co- worker(on his way to lunch ) stopped to help us. They even went back in to retrieve a tool & remove the obstruction for the light to finally do it's job. I really wanted to tip them & of course they would not accept . Employees like this seem few and far between these days & I hope this review finds the appropriate management. Well Done Auto Zone! Please recognize their ABOVE AND BEYOND. Kimberly Y.

Went there to grab a new battery for my car, When Jose and Jason told me about my dead battery's warranty that I didn't know I had. In the end they saved me some money with there great customer service help. Thank you!

Almost every time we come here, the employees have no customer service skills and no knowledge. Asked a guy scanning items if he worked there as he had a hoodie and earbuds in, and he looked himself up and done and rudely said, "Yeah!? They can help you at the desk". I remember 5-10 years ago you could walk in and someone could tell you what kind of part you needed just by looking at the car. Now they can't even find wiper blades. I understand the trades are dying, but if you don't even know what parts you have in store, what are you getting paid for? How are you going to call a little old lady stupid then make fun of her after she leaves defeated? Staff here is a joke
