The vibe has never felt unsafe. The personnel are friendly and the vendors are chill and welcoming. There are vacancies and it does not have the usual mall fare, as the merchants are all family and minority-owned. Many have been here for decades, making it a great place for launching a startup. The food options rule, with notable items like elotes and churros. It is an incredible place for all kinds of needs, from decorations to candies and piñatas. A lot of community events are held every month with local vendors, live entertainment, car shows, and more food. The theater hosts local music, indie film festivals, and free throwback movies. While some note it is not as busy as in its heyday and that some shops only take cash, the mall is cared for and provides good memories and service.
