Wish I could give 0 stars. Their management is horrible. You're better off going to Lowe's instead!

Very disappointed with this location the store is very unorganized. Drove all the way from Kenosha because the online site said they had the tile I was looking for 78 in stock and when I got there we looked all around trying to find it. An employee looked online and also confirmed they had them in stock but they probably got put away in a different location ? All of the other tiles were in the wrong location due to people rummaging through them. Will never return to this location.

I have had 3 of the exact same experiences every time I visit this store. I order stuff online and receive an email and when I get to the store, the items have not been pulled. Last time I waited 2.5 hours in the store for them to pull the order that was "supposedly" already pulled. The excuse I was given was that it was inventory time and they were very busy. That was back on May 22, 2019. This time, I tried to call the pro desk and order directly through the store. That was

Just visited this store around 4pm today, to see if they could help me out with a door nob I believe it's called mortise lock. So after looking for it I decided to ask for help. I asked a guy who is Hispanic in his mid 30s was on his cell phone for help and he said “did you look in that aisleâ€(pointing at the hard ware aisle). I said yes he then said “if you didn't find it then we don't have it†and went back to his phone. Horrible costumer service in that are. Went to the gardening are were I had better service a young man helped me out look for a small bag of planting soil for a pot I was buying. The cashier was friendly I believe her name is Alissa that's what it says on my receipt.

This Home Depot store is by far THE WORST I have ever shopped. There are a couple of good employees but for the most part the employees are rude and seem to not give a damn about their customers unlike the Gurnee or Round Lake stores who are very friendly and treat their customers with respect! They are consistently out of stock on many items and the overall store appearance is below average not to mention the panhandlers in the parking lot.

ordered a cabinet on line and went to pick it up forty minutes from my house. get there and the cabnet is damaged, door was scratched they recommended I paint it....on line it said they had four available, However the woman behind the desk said it was not correct. so now they determined another store has the same cabnet in stock. so I drive to that store, twenty minutes further.....guests what the woman at the first store did not do the transfer correctly so I waited an hour to get there paper work in order for a transfer.

One of the worst Home Depots I've been to but it's very close to the house so I continue to go there. Someone got the bright idea to fire all he cashiers and force everyone to use the self service check outs; It's a nightmare getting in and out. Long lines waiting as frustrated customers try to ring up items that won't fit on the scanner. They do station a girl there to hep but she's usually frazzled from running back and forth. I've seen people get tired of waiting and just leave their full carts on the spot and walk out. (i've done it a few times myself). Other big issue is getting help. Tried to get help in the window department lately. Nobody there. Everytime I tried flagging down someone in a Home Depot shirt I was told 'not my department" or "I'll find you someone". 40 minutes of waiting I left and drive 10 miles to the Home Depot in nearby Gurnee. Just seems like the management here is only concerned about cutting costs by understaffing. There are a few good workers here but they are being sabatoged by being overworked.

I am becoming increasingly more disenchanted with Home Depot. They have less and less cashiers on duty which makes the check out times longer and longer. I understand they need to do this to save on payroll but for the consumer, it sucks. They did open up self checkout lines. Great! Except, if you have items without barcodes (i.e. Nuts, bolts washers, etc) you have to wait for a cashier anyway. It would not be difficult to have these entered into their system, yet for some mysterious reason they do not. Now I am on my way to Ace Hardware where I can check out in a timely manner.
