I had the same issue that others have had; I tried to return an item that we didn't need, and although we hadn't taken it out of the box or removed the packaging in anyway they refused to refund our money due to damage to the unit - which was in their packaging. No apology, no offer to make amends. I'd recommend buying somewhere else.

Awesome customer service. Had a Rheem go out at 6 years due to hard water and improper installation. Rheem covered it 100% said to return to purchased location. Tankless king only required the tag off the unit, and shipped out promptly! Recommended! If you do buy, pay the extra $$ and have it professionally installed!

I bought this Rheem RTG-84DVLN tankless water heater after receiving the item I called the seller for some installation instructions they told me that it would be difficult to install it in my two story house and that it would be better to return it and get get a different model easier to install in my house buy they may charge me 20% restocking fee. I was ok with that and sent it back then (Penny in customer no service) claimed the item was damaged and had parts missing when they received back therefore they refused to accept the return, I never even tried to install it and never took anything out of the box now I have a unit useless to me I would NOT recommend this seller

Rheem tank less heaters are junk. I've replaced many of the condensing ng units where the heat exchanger is leaking, and now Rheem does not support its warranty. they changed the installation requirements and claim that the venting is installed incorrectly, which has nothing to do with the leaks don't trust Rheem.

If you are looking to buy a tankless water heater, buy from CPO outlets. Tanklessking will charge you 20% to return any product. No doubt this will happen as its a complex install with many parts required. Good luck!
