Went in to get my passport and had a great experience! The staff was friendly, efficient, and walked me through the whole process. I had everything I needed thanks to the helpful instructions ahead of time, and the appointment went smoothly. Super impressed with how organized and quick it all was—thank you!

I'm getting mail for a person that no longer lives with us. I keep putting down in big black letters: Not At Address or Return to sender and they keep sending it back to me. Very lazy and apparently cannot read. Getting sick of keep sending it back. No my responsibility to pay.

This post office is the worst. If i could do zero stars, I would. They are rude and generally unhelpful. After making a 2nd appointment online for a passport renewal (from their whopping 6 Saturday appointments - they only take appointments until 2:45 pm during the week. How is a person with a job supposed to get in?) We were turned away because I couldn't find the confirmation. Our forms were complete. My daughter needed to sign in front of them and we needed to pay. Instead we were turned away and told very sarcastically that we should have made an appointment. Maybe it's for the best because the lady in front of us had to bring hers back because they did it wrong. My son went to a different one they actually helped him with the form. He was done and out in under 10 minutes. Maybe the extra cost of postage should go to customer service training.

NOTE: TO THOSE SENDING POSTER TUBES OR PACKAGES TO THE UK (or anywhere abroad).For years, I routinely sent standard posters/poster tubes to the UK for roughly $23 - $29 dollars.Yesterday, that changed. I now had to pay $69.10. No joke, no exaggeration.When I asked why, I was told that "policies changed recently" and "First class shipping to UK is NO LONGER AVAILABLE". So now, you have to ship those items "priority" - hence the enormous price jump.Either policies changed (obviously for USPS to make more money), or, I was given wrong information.So - if you must ship anything to the UK or overseas - I would look around at other carriers and their prices - perhaps FEDEX, DHL, etc. Unless you want to pay 200-300% more - literally.I have actually followed up with the actual post office and Post Master to make sure this indeed was a policy change, or, if an employee maybe gave me bad information.BE READY.

I am very disappointed since I have a p.o box and it turns out that my packages are lost from there and the post office does not solve what is the case of paying p.o box if your packages are not safe... nor what one pays for it service ???

Slowest and most unfriendly woman working there. Prime after work time and only one worker at the counter... the slow u friendly woman. I left work allowing 15 minutes to mail a package befire having to pick up my child. I had to leave without mailing my package and there were 6 people behind me in line.

This is a long review but I suggest you read til the end! as you see by the majority of the reviews, this USPS location offers horrible customer service. I have gone very few times but each time I visit this place every front cashier employee act like they hate their lives. They will treat you like they are doing you a favor by just being there. It was the last visit though that really placed the cherry on the sundae. There was a language barrier between I and the lady helping me, she wasn't understanding what i was saying this urging her to raise her voice at me and argue. All i did was make a suggestion on a confusion on my part to avoid confusions from other visitors. she wasn't understanding what i was saying so in order for me to put an end to her hostile behavior i told her to charge me for my packaging material so that i can get out on my way. She screamed at me "enter your card", a few seconds later the receipt prints and i take it from her. ANOTHER associate screams out as i was walking out "Please dont come back!" So my only response was "FU" and she responded back to that as "FU TOO!" i do admit that my response was uncalled for but being asked to not come back by an associate was extremely unnecessary. i called right after a left to talk to a manager who apologiez but also justified both of their behavior by saying that people have bad days sometimes. I am in a customer service management role and there is no justification for this behavior. you cant work with people if 1. You allow your personal issues affect your performance and attitude. 2. you get triggered with the dumbest things and kick out or hang up on any customer. And 3. You dont speak nor understand fluent english because this was the problem that caused the problem to begin with, the associate helping me did not understand fluent English thus getting aggravated with me because i supposibly was d*** and did not understand what she was saying. This facility needs a whole new management and whole new employees in the front office with people that are bilingual but fluent in English and for people that have customer care backround experience. No wonder I always drive past this location and I barely see any activity in the parking lot. I visited the carol stream USPS, super busy but they had awesome friendly and helpful employees, definitely worth the drive.
