There is NEVER enough help here. Especially on Fridays! The teller or occasionally 2 tellers are usually very nice, it's just they are SO understaffed.

I STRONGLY recommend choosing another Bank. I thought 5/3rd was bad and switched, these guys take the cake. Three words WORST BANK EVER! Extremely poor customer service, difficult to navigate location, awfully narrow ATM drive through and more fees than I've ever seen. If you try to take money out of a non-US bank ATM and you ask for more than you have, you get a fee for that even (and of course no money comes out, rightfully so, but a fee?). Their other fees are extremely high comparable to other banks and they won't waive fees even when they're questionable or even bank error.

I wan to deposit check they hold my some money I told them I give you cashier check because my tax cut on Monday and half money deposit on Thursday they also wan to hold my cashier check .. very bad experience.. I close my account in a week ..

US Bank on Main Street in West Dundee, IL is by far, the WORST bank I have ever dealt with. I visited this branch a couple of weeks ago and the Branch Manager and Vice President, Carolyn Miller was rude, obnoxious, condescending and unprofessional.I visited the West Dundee branch to cash a returned check from my bank in the amount of $318.64 which should have been guaranteed since it was a cashier's check drawn on US Bank.One of the tellers was very accommodating and tried to cash the check for me, but US Bank Internal Affairs said my bank had cashed it.I then met with Carolyn Miller who was at first concerned and helpful. While she was on the phone with the US Bank branch on Randall Road in Elgin, I got my bank on the phone so they could explain to Ms. Miller why they had returned the $318.64 cashier's check to US Bank. Ms. Miller impatiently waved me away and turned her back on me.When she finished her phone call, she told me to get out. When I asked her about reimbursement by US Bank of the returned check, she told me not to make any demands on her. She then ordered me out of the bank.When I got into the parking lot, two officers of the West Dundee Police Department was waiting for me. One of the officers stayed with me while the other officer went into the bank to get Carolyn Miller's side of the story.Thirty minutes later, after waiting in the cold, the officer in the bank returned and told me never to go into another US Bank branch or I would be arrested.Stay away from this bank. They cheat you out of your money.

So this bank allows direct deposit of my fiances checks without him being on the account but Deposit a government check in my boyfriend's name and they say available balance then reversed the deposit putting me in a negative balance for the next week and told me even if I add him they will mail the check back in 5 to 10 days. We need the money now and all they can say is sorry. Time to switch banks. This bank screwed us n screwed ys even harder. Do Not use US Bank

I scheduled an phone appointment for 3pm today. I have an email stating that someone will call me at 3pm and the number they will call me back at is correct. It is now after 4pm and I haven't received a call for my scheduled appointment. Very poor reliability. I will not be continuing as a customer with a bank branch that can't even keep an appointment.

This bank is terrible, been going for years but will soon end. They don't have drive up and lobby closed for pandemic. All other banks have drive up lanes not just atm. Now I cant get through to their Visa card people and I was told there is a fraud on it, spent hours yesterday and tried today cant talk to anyone. Called branch and all was told he would get hold of card company to issue new card, what about fraud amount? Now I will have to contact all companies that take automatic payments, a real pain. Might as well go to another bank then with a better credit card. Why I still do business there is beyond me, not for long and I have other accounts making next to 0 interest.

I applied online for a car loan and this branch serviced it. I read the negative reviews and was skeptical, but after reading the online complaints (many seemed unreasonable) I went anyway. Yes, the actual office space is a little dated. How often do you actually use the bank for service anyway?!? Most things are done online these days. I was assisted by Dario Zarate, who was very knowledgeable, professional, and polite. The entire process, including opening a separate checking account and the loan, took 45 mins from beginning to end. I would recommend this branch.

Drive thought is closed during a social distancing epidemic. This branch needs to close and move to a better facility that is actually staffed properly.
