“Large selection of useful things you are probably looking for, with lots of helpful staff who know where to find them. Small footprint so you aren't hiking all over the store trying to find something - it's small and cozy but big enough to have what you need. They cut keys. If you need help with anything just ask one of their employees, they always have great customer service here.”
“Old school real hardware store. Great people and knowledge, and the best seed, garden starters, and specialty/cool tools in the Peoria area. Always worth a visit if in the area, and everyone can find something to enjoy here.”
“I came in for a couple things including a tool box. Got the bottom part with rollers, a middle piece for it, sander and a hammer for 129! So glad I didn't buy the one at home depot. They wanted 125 for the bottom piece and another 115 for the middle piece and the top wouldn't even open all the way with the rollers. This might be my new go to place.”
“It is a tad unorganized but the owner/worker we interacted with was very nice and made it extremely easy for me to rent an appliance dolly at the last minute and did not charge an enormous fee for my later-than-4pm close up return of rental. Highly recommend this place.”

“The things that differentiates ACE hardware for me are the smaller stores (you aren't hiking 2 miles to find something) and friendly staff who are always available to help you. The stores are always clean and well laid out, and you can easily get to know where things are in your local store. They cut keys, which is what I needed this time. Great location, definitely try it out if you are in the area.”

“Walked in right before 9pm and they close at 10pm. Drove from Bloomington to buy some landscape edging that was on sale and it was up on a pallet in the steel and needed a forklift driver to get it down. The guys mobilized and were able to get the pallet down. We were so thankful and glad we made the drive! Our cashier Marquese was super helpful and patient with us while checking out and he was awesome at customer service by letting the people in line behind us know that there were other checkout lanes open so they didn't have to wait so long behind us. Great customer service all around and so glad you guys had the items in stock!”
“Lowe’s gets a solid 4 stars from me. It’s a decent place with a huge selection, so you can usually find what you need, but nothing about it really stands out. The store can feel pretty busy at times, and it’s not always easy to find help right away. Overall, it gets the job done, just not anything amazing or super memorable. Lowe's”
“I just moved here from Florida and I'm trying to find a job. I got on Uber to try to learn my way around. I picked up an order from Lowe's . Harrison was absolutely wonderful . He made me feel seen and he made me feel like I mattered . He listened to my story with such compassion and understanding . I'm only 5'1 and the package I was picking up to deliver was extremely large and he was able to bring it to my car for me . He's a smart intelligent young man and he made my day . It's not easy starting in a new town especially when you're trying to find work . I didn't even get a tip from the person I delivered this heavy box to; the box was up to my waist and as wide as me. Because I'm learning my way around it took me 50 minutes to get to this person's house and I only made $5.70. But I kept thinking of how nice Harrison was to me and that I got to meet him and make a connection and now I know that when I go to Lowe's as an Uber driver I will be supported by the staff. Harrison thank you so much for your kindness. You made my day after such a hard day.”
