“Best crew there today! Thomas and young man behind the counter, thanks again! Wish I had your name for proper thanks. Thank you all for helping within your ability, you're all amazing.”
“Very friendly staff, helped me find exactly what I needed. They even helped me make sure it was an exact replacement for the flex pipe I needed for repairing my hot water heater.”
“The things that differentiates ACE hardware for me are the smaller stores (you aren't hiking 2 miles to find something) and friendly staff who are always available to help you. The stores are always clean and well laid out, and you can easily get to know where things are in your local store. They cut keys, which is what I needed this time. Great location, definitely try it out if you are in the area.”
“Walked in right before 9pm and they close at 10pm. Drove from Bloomington to buy some landscape edging that was on sale and it was up on a pallet in the steel and needed a forklift driver to get it down. The guys mobilized and were able to get the pallet down. We were so thankful and glad we made the drive! Our cashier Marquese was super helpful and patient with us while checking out and he was awesome at customer service by letting the people in line behind us know that there were other checkout lanes open so they didn't have to wait so long behind us. Great customer service all around and so glad you guys had the items in stock!”
“I was a first time visitor today & had no idea where anything was...Maxine was the first associate that I encountered...she was smiling & went into the app to give me locations for all my items...I then had the pleasure to encounter Jeff, Steve, Dan, Meghan, Zeke & Hannah! They all came together as a TEAM & assisted me in every department that I needed items from! This was CUSTOMER SERVICE done right! I will be back!”

“Great place to do business and always friendly. We do business with several Johnstone businesses and Peoria, Il. and Cape Girardue, Mo. Are a great group of people.”
“I just moved here from Florida and I'm trying to find a job. I got on Uber to try to learn my way around. I picked up an order from Lowe's . Harrison was absolutely wonderful . He made me feel seen and he made me feel like I mattered . He listened to my story with such compassion and understanding . I'm only 5'1 and the package I was picking up to deliver was extremely large and he was able to bring it to my car for me . He's a smart intelligent young man and he made my day . It's not easy starting in a new town especially when you're trying to find work . I didn't even get a tip from the person I delivered this heavy box to; the box was up to my waist and as wide as me. Because I'm learning my way around it took me 50 minutes to get to this person's house and I only made $5.70. But I kept thinking of how nice Harrison was to me and that I got to meet him and make a connection and now I know that when I go to Lowe's as an Uber driver I will be supported by the staff. Harrison thank you so much for your kindness. You made my day after such a hard day.”

“We just moved to this area about 2 months ago and this store became our primary go to place for home improvement. Everyone was nice and helpful. The only reason for the four stars is because the store is not as well equipped as other HomeDepots I've been to, which is totally understandable since we are in a small town.”
“Bought a few specialty bolts/nuts here that I couldn't find anywhere else in town. The staff was helpful, price was fair, and the parts are high quality. I will definitely be returning in the future.”

“Old school real hardware store. Great people and knowledge, and the best seed, garden starters, and specialty/cool tools in the Peoria area. Always worth a visit if in the area, and everyone can find something to enjoy here.”
