“This is by far my favorite Dollar Tree. It’s very organized, clean, well-stocked, and the employees have always been helpful and pleasant. Special kudos go out to Chris, the assistant manager, who is consistently working about the store, opening boxes, placing items on shelves, running the cash register, and greets everyone he sees.”

“This is 1 of 3 dollar trees close to my house, but the only one I go to. It has a variety of products, though I wish there were more of the products I see by social media bloggers that make videos about their new finds. The only issue I have, is that it always has clutter from products that have yet to go on the shelves yet in the isles. However, this is common practice at every single dollar tree I go to outside the area as well.
I love buying their seasonal items because I work at a school in the lunchroom, and we have a front cork board we decorate for the various seasons/holidays. We also have a larger cork board we decorate as well. The kids love the holiday decorations we put up & get excited to see what we are doing next. I also love the solar stakes for the house to line the walkway & the garden areas. Also the door window hangers for the holidays/seasons.”
“As a Dollar Tree it's solid, shelves are stocked and it's kept really neat and clean. The reason I'm giving it five stars is because of the wonderful, wonderful lady at the register! I wish I had asked her name but I just want her to know that I think she made everybody's day a little bit brighter and happier with her positive and kind personality! I'm coming back to this location even though it's out of my way simply because of how nice everyone is there ? “I went to this store and was amazed at how clean, organized and well merchandised the store is. Yeah, if you know, you know, most Family Dollars are a hot mess BUT not this one. While in there shopping, I heard customers being checked out inform the cashier that they too were impressed. When I got to the register I said it too. It just so happen to be the store manger that was cashiering. I can tell it meant a lot to hear this from the customers. She told me she is the store manager and has been at that location for 3 years. She didn't want her location to be what we have come to expect of a Family Dollar. I mean, merchandising and organization was never on my expectations when I walked into them but it is what I found at this location. I hope she recognized. She seemed to be the only employee working. Well done. Keep up the good work and thank you for raising YOUR bar.

“Who doesn't love going to Dollar Tree? Not me!!! Can you imagine if we had this store around when we were kids? Mama Mia!!! The store was neat and clean. Plenty of parking in the strip mall area. There were plenty of seasonal items on the shelves. I went to buy Mason jars, which they always seem to have well stocked. I recommend visiting this location. Oh, btw, items are now $1.50. I wasn't aware until I hit the register. Either way, the items for crating, etc. is still a great deal...”
“I come to this Dollar Tree regularly, 4, 5 times a week. Starting to remodeling this faculty. Removing the self check out, & new flooring. The store always fully stocked, Ordering regularly to replenish the out of stock items. Employees & Management very courteous, even greeting guest when entering the store, walk distance from & to the Blue Line E station.”
“Great customer service, awesome cashier, ok products. I went to get a few household essentials and they were sold out, due to the time of day I went and it being Easter weekend. I also had 2 items that I wanted to exchange from 2 other Dollar Tree stores due to them being duplicate items that I'd purchased before. They exchanged them no questions asked without even asking to see my receipts. Great customer service, I will be checking them out again!”

“I recently visited a Dollar Tree location, and I was genuinely impressed by how clean and well-organized the store was from the moment I walked in. Many people expect discount stores to be a bit cluttered or chaotic, but this Dollar Tree completely defied that stereotype. The floors were spotless, the aisles were tidy, and every shelf looked thoughtfully arranged, making it incredibly easy to find exactly what I needed without feeling overwhelmed.
What stood out most was how neatly the products were grouped by category. Seasonal items were displayed in an attractive, easy-to-browse layout, while everyday essentials like cleaning supplies, snacks, and personal care items were clearly labeled and fully stocked. It made the shopping experience smooth and enjoyable, almost more like a boutique discount store than a typical dollar shop.
The checkout area was also clean and efficiently managed. Even when a small line formed, the staff moved things along quickly, all while keeping their stations organized and free of clutter. That level of attention to detail really added to the overall positive atmosphere of the store.
Overall, this Dollar Tree exceeded my expectations. The cleanliness, organization, and thoughtful layout made shopping simple, fast, and surprisingly pleasant. I’ll definitely be returning.”

“Visited 12/28/25 to look for nail glue. We asked for help by the register and the woman working was so helpful! She jumped up and helped my daughter look up and down the isle. We looked everywhere, she even went in the back to look.
Even though we could not find it; my daughter was so impressed with her kindness that she wanted to go online and leave a nice review. It was her birthday and the kindness she received was the cherry to her night. Thank you! We will be back for future needs”

“I am giving 5 stars to the manager, tall cashier dude that's always present, and the older woman that typically closes because these workers bust their humps!
To the contrary I want to say to the owner, general manager,etc
I was in this evening around 6:48 pm. The cashier ( no name tag) wearing white jogging pants and a black top should be taught to not be holding a customer's money and texting... I wanted to scream from how unprofessional it was just standing there staring at her for what seemed like FOREVER to please put her phone down and finish my transaction. As soon as I walk up she's just texting completely ignoring me and my entire interaction was awkward. I look forward in seeing the manager whenever I walk in as she is incredibly helpful and pleasant and I could've right there and then called for her however she was busy putting the price tags on throughout the entire store trusting this young lady and this cashier should be written up. Next time if it happens again I will be certain to say something. If it were my job, I'd be out of a job, period. I did not appreciate spending $43.00 to give her $45.00 and wait forever to get my change that probably was about 3 minutes total just staring at her and she gave no care because obviously it's welcomed. I have seen the manager at this location train and she is stern, hard pressed while being gentle and extremely patient so I know it is not happening in her presence. We all have things going on at home, etc but that's what a break is for!!
As a professional, please do not respond with, " I'm sorry to hear this. Please email me or please understand.... ( Whatever reason is given it is not good enough)"
In my customer service career as a young cashier I had to learn the hard way by receiving a write up, having my phone confiscated by management until the end of my shift or being sent home without pay.
I do understand that this generation is pretty much... RELAXED to a certain degree but it is common sense, " the customer service is the first contact, is responsible for creating that warm and inviting impression to keep customers coming back vs to their competitors, are responsible for adhering to their employment hand book guidelines of what is acceptable and isn't and the customers wanting to come back purchasing inventory is what creates profit and raises"
Please, get it together. Give your Manager and the old lady a raise as they have been the consistent employees in that store since I moved to Wood Dale years ago. Stop hiring anyone and if you do ensure they have common knowledge of what is expected or train them properly so that these young folks understand.”

Workers are so rude when you'll point out the obvious. If you see the line reaching an isle then ask another cashier to open. The manager saw the line and just kepted walking. When I pointed out the obvious, the cashier became rude saying she's not the owner but only works there. Unprofessional and provided the worst customer service, and the young manager agreed with her. I'm putting a formal complaint, this is ridiculous. Lack of professionalism, they don't even value their jobs. Horrible service.”
“They have so much here from housewares to decorations to chips to to shampoo to drinks to ice cream. Nice staff and free parking that's diagonal right in front for 90 minutes. Also next to a little shopping mall w Mexican ice cream and Mexican restaurant.. and a few blocks from the Pink CTA line. Plus I love it that they had 2 for $1 Doritos!! It saved my belly from hunger today while doing errands. Thank you. But the lady staff assumed I was stealing it and walking out without paying bc I guess she wasn’t paying attention to her coworker or didn’t bother to ask him if I already paid. I had a receipt in hand so I had prooof but she could have asked her coworker first before accusing me of walking out without paying the $1.11 for the 2 Doritos :-) that were boldly held for all to see bc I paid for them.”

The person at the cash register was kind and asked me if I was okay and if there was anything she could do to help me, and insisted in trying to help me.
