Spiral ham $80 complete dinner offer was a bate and switch. Picked it up a noon came home unpacked it and no spiral ham just a cheap smoked butt end.According to manager they would allow me to return the whole deal for a refund which is another 46 minute drive. False advertising is not acceptable. Never going back to this grocery chain again to shop."Buyes rbeware"

Good thing you don't sell pop corn Chicken. No more cause I couldn't afford to lose any more teeth If anybody needs a tooth pull just order popcorn Chicken, Don't order sides You won't get Em even if you tell them you didn't get Em. They won't refund you for your sides. And please don't send me a message saying. You're sorry, and you're gonna fix your issue. Cause you can't. Can you fix my toot? I highly doubt it, now all my teeth are shifting Thanks a lot. It takes 24/7 to leave this Store,

Love Mariano’s. This one doesn’t have a salad bar and very limited choices for soup.

They stop carrying healthy options in favor of an unneeded home goods section, and while self checkout is convenient for small grocery trips, it’s the worst for large orders or if you have children with you. I used to love this store, but for the past five years it’s steadily gone down hill. I shop elsewhere when I have the option.

All Mariano's are not created equally. The smoothie counter was cluttered I could not reach the counter to order a smoothie when I finally figured it out the person acted surprised to see me she stated "I was on my way to go on break." I requested three large smoothies only received one. I reminded the young lady I wanted three. Apparently notIt was not a good experience ?

Second time ordering mac & cheese from this Mariano’s and whoever is in charge is sooo rude!!! This will for sure be my last time. She was rude while I was placing my order and when I picked up. She’s just a very rude person. I’ll be staying away from ordering hot food in this location.

It's a good place for grocery shopping. You won't be able to find more niche items or produce but generally speaking the things you can buy there cover about 95% (made up statistic) of your needs.

I go into this store around 11:15 a.m. just to get something for lunch. They got this sign pizza 2 for $5. Serve between 11:00 am - 2 pm. Wanted 2 slices of sausages but there was only one slice left. The lady standing there not doing anything. Ask the lady if will she be making more sausage pizza. She replied by saying No. Went to talk to her boss Emily. The bottom-line boss went to tell her to cook sausage pizza. Waited for another 1/2 hour. When she was done. The lady came out with pepperoni pizza. This store getting bad by the day. No respect for customers at all by the boss in charge of that department and cooker. Simple transaction but they want you to spend your money in the store.

BEWARE: They sell items that are either already expired, or are just on the verge of going bad. I bought raspberries from them and the next day they were growing mold in the fridge. Additionally, they are oft out of items (especially produce), and always have only 1 or 2 open checkout lanes available at any given time (even when the place is swamped with customers). Some employees are nice but others clearly giving attitude for no reason. Used to be a lot better, but like other Mariano's stores, this place has declined fast; unrecognizable compared to what it was when it opened in 2014. It's the same exact situation at the W. Springs location. Unfortunate the lack of good grocery options in the area. I'll go out of my way to find a better store though.

I used to shop there, but the last time I was approached by a very nasty and rude employee while at the self checkout lane. It seems like the quality of people in the workforce has depreciated tremendously.

Walked in on a Thursday night. very clean location even for being late on a Thursday. aisles where spacious, aton of options when it comes to fresh fruits and vegetables. The Precooked food area still had some options available. The cashier, I forgot her name, an Older African american lady at self check out,was very nice and very friendly. I'm not a big Mariano's shopper but this one was a good experience.

On September 6 2023 at 4:45PM (relevant for manager work schedule), I went into Mariano's in Westchester IL to pick up a few things. My wife usually does the shopping, as I am visually impaired, but she was out of town. When I arrived at the checkout, there were only two cashiers working, and the lines were very long. This is absurd given the prices this store charges. That fact notwithstanding, I am unable to do self-checkout due to my eye condition. I found an employee and asked her to get me the store manager, which she went to request. Apparently, the store manager at that time could not be bothered with me to resolve my dilemma, so the employee helped me check out. By the time we finished, and corrected the several pricing errors that were not in my favor, the store manager still had no shown up.I will never spend another penny in this store. Apparently, this company does not even want to pay enough people to take the customer's money. Then, the store manager could not be bothered with a visually impaired customer's attempt to pay for the goods when she wouldn't pay anyone else to do so. Not only should the story manager be terminated, but so should the regional manager, as I am certain he/she constrained budgets at the store level to feed his own bonus. Then the store manager has to feed her own bonus, and the overall result is a drastic disbenefit to the customers whose money is funding those bonuses. Additionally, the regional manager apparently has no policies in place requiring store managers to tend to the needs of disabled customers, leaving them free to completely disregard them. Kroger should go back to the states where it came from. Maybe they get away with this type of irresponsibility there, but it will cost them revenues here.

DON'T SHOP AT THIS WORTHLESS 2nd Most Expensive Grocery CHAIN (owned by cheapskates Kroger!) NOTE:! A year ago they WERE my favorite foods from all sides of God's green Earth! (What a difference A year makes! All the Good Millennials have moved on--and probably for good reason!--all the utter Nastiest remain!).Just last week I heard a manager openly say, "Where the F***! are those 2 girls!" So! Foul-mouth Miss! This is how you really feel about your underlings! And you say this loud and proud DIS to 2 others on your team! LIVE in front of a long time customer (My family always insisted on certain items over the last 5 years from this chain). So, Today I decided I would see if there was a snow-balls chance in Hell reason that I should continue to patronize the now constantly in decline train-wreck! Called Mariano's! And my Resounding Answer is NO! Or as the the saying goes! NEVER AGAIN!The only thing I found in the whole entire store was the $6.99! Half gallon of freshly squeezed Orange Juice! (To think I used to buy $400 at one time and now I couldn't even break $10! How utterly pathetic of the Chain that was once poisoned to take over Target! (But Kroger lacks the brains, common sense, and simple investments that could propel them above Target! Instead, Mariano's is literally being flushed down the toilet!). So, here's everything that went SOUTH of HEAVEN for Mariano's today! 1) ROTTEN FOOD! I was stunned! Every one of the reduced packages of cherry tomatoes was rotten! (See pictures below!). Up to this point every thing on the reduced fruit and vegetable end cap was just a little old or bruised! But not rotten! The last thing I wanted to do was eat something rotten and get sick! 2) The continued overuse and deception of supposedly lower prices with the use of DIGITAL COUPONS! (No employee has ever taken the time to register me for DIGITAL COUPONS!). And even with them MARIANO's is still twice as expensive on black cherries as the Mexican Fruit Market! (See pictures below)! 3). Once again I use self-checkout! There are 6 bays! And all the employees are busy talking with each other instead of potentially acting proactively to help customers! (See pictures of the bays without an employee in sight!). (Too bad the best millennial, and Mariano's employee they ever had! A fine Hispanic woman! She helped me a record 6 times at the self-checkout! Without my even asking! Then I found out how dedicated to family that she truly was! She left for Mexico to take care of her ailing grandmother! God if I could give her $100 tip I would! I hope she becomes a nurse! She deserves to make $80K! But those days are gone! Now they are down the tubes!

This place is so unorganized that the pricing is always wrong, the digital coupons don't work and the staff asks you if you know how to download a coupon lol Then AFTER you pay and go to the service desk, the employee is SO LAZY that they'd rather give you a full refund AND the product rather than adjusting their mistake. Yesterday the assistant manager was standing by the lottery machine chatting with somebody when I walked in, and was in the same spot 30 minutes later when I left. I cannot understand how this place will remain in business
