“I got a craving for popcorn on a Saturday night. No one was open in suburbs west of Wheaton so I grabbed my pup and took a 20 min drive to Wheaton. Downtown was hopping so had to park a block away and I took my dog with me. When I asked the young guys working inside if dogs were allowed (I didn’t see the sticker on door) they responded no. But then 1 jumped up and said I’ll be glad to watch her for you! Man that mad my night ! I ordered a big bag of popcorn and thanked him. The popcorn was fantastic and so were the young men working there. Thanks!”
“On 11/22/2024 @ 17:21 pm, Lili served us. My husband wanted 4, dark chocolate, vanilla filled buttercreams, I wanted 2 petite walnut, truffles. We got six, milk chocolate, chelated filled butter creams. The server did not bother to listen to our order, git it wrong, and did not want to be there. We want a full refund or gift card. The customer service was atrocious and the order all wrong!! I am increasing the stars, manager, gave 2 boxes of buttercreams, vanilla for the wrong order so ? happy.!”

“By far my favorite candy shop in the area— anywhere really!. Always so nice & helpful. The chocolate is so delicious! Their choc covered strawberries & bananas (usually special order at the Indian Head Park store) are amazing! Can’t say enough nice things about Old Fashioned candies! Their Berwyn store has more offerings but if you want something they’ll bring it over, if you ask.”
“I have been going to Fannie May since I was a teenager. They still sell candy by the piece or cup, and you can mix and match. I love the Dixies, balls of delicious caramel rolled in toasted pecans. The dark chocolate candied citrus peel is great. You can buy a boxed set or create your own. The best part is that their staff are seniors that live near the store. It's like getting candy from your grandparents. They are very sweet, especially Jeanette from Broadview IL. I hope to work there as my third act.”
“A one stop shop ????, you can have it all if you have a sweet tooth they have a large variety of candy, & they have the best snowballs in town from the size of the cups to the many flavors SOME I NEVER EVEN HEARD OF lbs. And if your hungry and want a quick meal Sugar Dealers will get you right faster than any restaurant will. Also last but not least the owners mom is a lovely friendly woman that brings wonderful energy as soon as you hit the door WILL DEFINITELY BE GOING BACK”
“I come here every Christmas to get a custom-made box of candy for each of my sons and I always look forward to this visit. The women that work here are consistently, professional, friendly, cheery, and oh so helpful. Really unusual in this day and age. Today a woman named Jina waited on me and she was absolutely delightful. She gave me a couple of samples and made me feel so welcome and unhurried. Really really a wonderful experience that I look forward to every year.”

“Ferrara has earned its place as a top candy company. Black forest fruit snacks have a not-too-sticky texture and moderately sweet taste that makes them stand out amongst competitors. There is one way the product could improve, though- the variety of flavors in each pouch isn't always mixed. For example, this pouch had one apple and 5 strawberries, with no cherry or grape. It wasn't the only one in the box that way either.”

“I absolutely adore this little DIAMOND in the rough of a store. If you can imagine an old school confectionery mixed with a Baker's shop also mixed with a coffee and honey processing shop in addition to being able to buy invoke.As long as you call ahead this place is a win no matter what.”
