The slightly older gentleman who helped us sort out getting the tires filled was really pleasant to interact with. The staff at this midas seem honest, they looked at our vehicle, found exactly what was wrong, and didn't try and sell us anything we didn't need. They didn't charge to fill up the tires either, and had it done in what seemed like less than five minutes.
Additionally, they have great candy. I may be in my thirties, but I appreciate any establishment that has a little candy dish. Getting your car looked at is an anxiety inducing thing, and it's small friendly gestures like having a candy dish or a water cooler that can help ease that, even if just by a little.
We've been to this location a few times, it's always been quick, pleasant, and importantly honest. Other places we've been to have attempted to scam or upcharge, this place has not.
Reliable, friendly, and wonderfully walking distance.

Once again Andy and his crew came through for me. Went in for a oil change and inquired about noise from the rear brakes. They diagnosed it, called me to explain what was going on and fixed it rather quickly. Anyone looking for honest and reliable automotive repair should give them a try. My family has been going there for years.

In a huge pinch, my wife and I, who had traveled from Bloomington to Westmont for a Trader Joe’s visit, discovered upon attempting to leave that establishment that our power steering had gone out completely.
We managed to get across the street to Midas at 12:50 PM and pop the hood to have a peek. The reservoir was completely empty. We’d had a leak repaired a few weeks back, but apparently it wasn’t really fixed. Andy, the owner operator, came out and cheerfully asked if he could help.
We explained the situation, and that we were two hours from home, asking if we could but some fluid from him. He brought some out and poured it in. I watched as it poured straight thru onto the ground beneath the vehicle.
That’s when Andy said he was going to go ahead and lift it up and take a look. He graciously did so, and after finding that a hose had wiggled loose, he fixed it lickety-split and refused to even charge us, saying “Hey, we all need a hand now and then.”
I would 100% recommend this Midas location to anyone. Andy is one heck a friendly guy who cares about people and puts them over profits.

I highly recommend this Midas location. The staff was friendly and courteous and the service was prompt. Andy, the owner did a great job explaining exactly what the issue was with my brakes and what they were able to do to fix them at the best price in town. He went above and beyond and tweaked other things that needed to be tweaked without extra charges. Andy's friendly demeanor really sets him apart from other places. Thanks, to all those at Midas in Westmont for the great work.

If you need a place with exceptional customer service you have found the place! I brought my car in for a check engine light and they were able to fix it day of appointment. It came on a week later and gave them a call and they fit me into their schedule. They openly communicate every step of the way, and they are not condescending like most shops I’ve experienced. Andy and Willy are amazing and your car is definitely in the right hands at the Midas of Westmont!!!

I brought my 2010 GLK 350 4matic in to get the exhaust system replaced for $1,425.00. I gave them all day to work on it (starting at 11:30 am). They budgeted for two hours. I got a call in less than one hour that my car was done. They rushed the job and for what? There were no other cars even there that day.After the job, I test drove the car. There was a new engine noise that was never there before in the 11 years I've owned the car. It is a knocking noise. I have 7 different recordings of this noise that they caused on my phone. This noise is 100% a product of the work they did.So, I immediately brought it back to Andy. "Can you please get rid of this noise that was not there before?" He took no blame for the noise and rushed me out of there within one minute. The business had no cars in there and he couldn't pull it in and diagnose the problem he caused?I emailed him later that night. He will not do a thing and blames it on the oil change - which I got two months ago by Mercedes Northbrook. The noise was not there for the last two months or for the last 11 years.

I called around to several Midas in the Chicagoland area just to get a headlight bulb replaced and no one had any appointments available for the day . I extended my search a little further, was able to get in contact with Andy, one of the employees or managers at this location. I was literally in and out within 10 minutes and they’re very reasonable for the pricing.
