Horrible insurance company! Refuses to return ANY calls, first adjuster I had was Joanna Murillo, she refuses to call back or to answer any questions you may have about anything, left messages and nothing! Then after office closes at 4pm I would get a text and that is it. A simple text, telling me absolutely nothing! Talked to a guy named Russell, he seemed ok and helpful, then when getting put in ICU for a week was told they would extend my rental due to the fact that I was hospitalized and unable to return car. There was never an extension, I was charged crazy amounts from my account while not being able to cover it because I was off work. Thought it was taken care of but was not! Then after talking to him again he told me it would all be sorted out and he’d call me back, now two weeks later still haven’t heard a thing! Call almost every day and no answer! horrible insurance company! CAUTION!
Do not deal with these people!

Avoid doing business with this insurer. They take too long to fix a problem and do not bother to inform you about your complaint. If you had a problem, insist with the calls, they will not call you.

Please be warned!
i've cancelled my policy 3 times and they still keep billing me for it until they finally told me they don't cancel policies over the phone. Customer service has a bad attitude and make's you feel like if you're bothering them.

This isn't my insurance company. It is the insurance of a person who damaged my vehicle. Dealing with them to get my car fixed so far has been nothing short of aggravating and I've only had 2 conversations. They refuse to set me with a time to inspect my vehicle that coordinates with my work schedule. Eventhough I can still be seen within their business hours of 8-4 she insisted I take a slotted time of 9am on a Wednesday because they prefer their employees to be in the facility in the morning and out in the field afternoons. I informed her I would need to be seen between 3 and 4 pm. Joanna murrillo went as far as requesting I take off work to do what she would prefer. I refused to do so and the claim is still open with no resolution as of yet.

a super bad insurance company... they take forever to respond to your messages and calls... and they don't respond to you when you have an accident... they waste your time... I guess it is for that same reason that they have a bad rating. .. just like bad service... I don't recommend it to anyone.

Worst insurance company ever!!! never answers the phone and can’t even make a simple appointment correct! So disappointing and money down to the drain. I would totally give them negative stars. Don’t waste your time on them and get a better insurance!

They did not pay for the damages to my car that their insurer caused .Their insurer got a ILLINOIS CITATION and was in the wrong and they still said it’s due to conflicting statements ANYTIME SOMEONE RECEIVED A TICKET FOR A TRAFFIC VIOLATION THAT PARTY OR THEIR INSURANCE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES I HAVE NOW CONTACTED A LAWYER SAFWAY INSURANCE IS DEFINITELY A SCAM QUIT WASTING YOUR MONTHLY PAYMENT WITH THEM BECAUSE YOUR BASICALLY NOT COVERED!!! ADJUSTER NEVER REACHED OUT YO ME DURING THE WHOLE PROCESS WHICH WAS ALMOST 2 weeks left me unsure uneducated and without a car THE FAR WORST INSURANCE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. She was very unprofessional and lacked communication skills terribly she needs to find a new job because it’s obvious dealing with people in an important time of loss or damage she was not a good adjuster then when she I finally got her the phone 13 days later we talked hung up sent a letter stating my car was a total loss and they won’t pay for the damages I waited with no transportation just to be told my car is totaled and to figure it out AND IT WAS THEIE INSURES FAULT!! Frustrated and hurt is an understatement Joana Murillo has given me the worst experience ever wasn’t helpful didn’t communicate and had a bad attitude when I asked questions about their insurer being at fault OVERALL 0-10 experience with Safeway so becareful they won’t pay for damages you will have to seek an attorney sadly.

The worst insurance company. The adjuster will lie to you in a heartbeat. They will tell you one thing and you won’t get in touch with anyone for months. Never answer phone. I had to contact IDIC. 3 times to get something done. Terrible customer service is pathetic
