I bought a certified car and took it to AAA for oil change and inspection. They recommended to do a major fix but though I took this car 2 days back I took back to dealers and fixed it with warranty 0$. Thank you guys! Also I got a good deal on insurance from aaa.

I had my car towed to AAA August 5 2024 and in north riverside and pick August 17 I want to go pay $ 1803 68 and my car had no brakes Charlie Johnson gave me my car with no brakes. I am so emotional distressed after the situation I have been through with AAA. I’ve had my car at four different locations. I’ve had it in Wheaton. North Riverside Aurora my brakes are still not complete but this is what they’re telling me. I talked to Jessie son David Charlie Johnson Eric they all giving me all different information on my car I picked I Jessie had me to deliver my car to Wheaton that was last week last Thursday and he let my car sit there. I had my car delivered back August 17 to my home because they haven’t done anything. My car is leaking or the brakes are not completed. I need different things when I gave them my car to fix my car so that I could get on the road none of that has done been done. I was told I had all timers dimension and I didn’t understand by Charlie Johnson. I have been treated so unfair and I was just trying to get my car fixed. Jessie kept my car six days at the location in Wheaton and they didn’t fix anything. Why would you keep my car as long and you haven’t done anything, I am so emotional distress. I was given a car with no brakes could kill somebody or I could hurt myself. I feel like all they did was made a food out of me and took my money and then I had a alternator put in my car and there was nothing wrong with the alternator. Charlie Johnson had the alternator taken out and replaced and he said out of his mouth, there was nothing wrong with it and he would reimburse me my $200 back for labor. I haven’t received that yet. I am so emotionally upset, I have been dealing with AAA with my car from August 5 till September 17 2024 I cannot believe that you would give a person a car that has paid you $1800 and there’s no brakes and then you diagnose me with dimension all timers and you tell me I don’t understand but I understood when I paid the bill and the service I have received is unbelievable this is how you do your customers I have been told so many stories about my car I was told I need this part that part now they want to charge me $3100 to finish I can’t believe managers they are rude and have no respect I am a senior and disabled but I haven’t been diagnosed with what Charlie Johnson told me I had I can’t believe I was treated like this and I spent $1800 at AAA. No brakes or leaking parts. I don’t need parts I do need and Job is not done. I am emotionally distressed. You keep my car from August till September, and you haven’t done nothing you didn’t finish the brakes. This is unbelievable.

BEWARE!
AAA did not fix my car but took my $1400 and allowed me to leave the facility with the same problem. There is no customer service with this facility.
May 23, 2024, went into this AAA because my car was leaking antifreeze. AAA inspected the car and said I needed to replace the water pump; cost was $1400.00.
May 24, 2024, they called me and said the car was fixed. I paid the $1400.00 and drove the car home.
May 27th, 2024, the car started overheating and smoking. Looked under the car, the car was still leaking antifreeze. This time the leak was worse and now I see smoke.
May 28th, 2024 took my car back to AAA and said the car is still leaking antifreeze. The rep said I had a new water pump, but I needed to pay another $800.00 to fix the leak.
What!! I didn’t ask for a water pump, asked them to stop the leaking antifreeze.
I literally paid $1400.00 for them NOT to fix the car.
There misrepresentation and awful customer service, is so wrong on so many levels. What is also concerning AAA special complaint team huge lag time with obtaining resolution in this matter.
My car is still at their facility.
I have been without my car since May 28, 2024, and out of $1400.00 because of their MASSIVE mistake.

I want to give a shout out to Nathan L. I came in with car problem today not knowing what to do. He immediately left what he was doing and took a lot of time, effort, and care to help me with my car repair. He was extremely professional, kind, patient, and showed that he actually cared about the customer. He went above and beyond. I rate him 10 out of 10 and I hope he gets a raise because he deserves it! Appreciate you Nathan! Michelle black Chevy Cruz.

Super friendly staff. Had a few good experiences with them on minor things.
But they were convinced my car needed a whole new exhaust system to fix the 02 sensor. So I listened to them and when I got my car back the new exhaust beats and bangs while I am driving down the road. I was told I'd have to pay to get it fixed that they weren't to blame. Not pointing fingers but I know it didn't do that when I brought it in and here I am a 1 month later needing to replace my 02 sensor again.
I'd just let them stick to minor fixes.

I bought my Toyota Corolla brand new three years ago. The first two years of maintenance were done at Lombard Toyota, which was excellent. AAA checked fluid levels at 2.5 years as part of Toyota maintenance requirements. I check mileage every day by turning on the key. A month ago, I saw the message "Maintenance required soon." I scheduled AAA to do an oil change. After they finished, I turned on the key before leaving. I saw the message appear: "Not ready to drive." I informed the AAA manager, who consulted the tech. They said that is normal. I later consulted various AI engines and found that this message could be reset. Since the car is under warranty until May 15, 2024, I had an appointment at Lombard Toyota to reset the message on May 11, 2024. Since AAA is both a full-service vehicle repair and insurance facility, they should be able to reset the message correctly. However, the tech at Toyota validated that the message was normal. The AAA tech was right, but I never saw that message before. I guess the AI engines are what we call "hallucinating."

Never fixed the root cause. $3500 for bandaids when I really needed a new transmission all along. Horrible at diagnosing.

Just average. I went because of the free tire rotation. They did it, but they didn't check the tire pressure. Shouldn't that be standard? I was low in one tire. I may have to give them two stars if they didn't adjust the tire pressure sensors to account for the tire rotation.

They are great for regular repairs, like brakes and oil changes. If you need a diagnosis, use someone else. I have had bad experiences with them several times, enough for me to not want to use them again. They installed defective rear struts, and when I brought the car back complaining, they installed different new rear suspension parts without my authorization. They told me that they fixed the rattle, when in fact the rattle persisted. Another repair shop fixed their mistakes. I could go on and on. Worn brakes were misdiagnosed as a worn serpentine belt pulley. Their prices are lower than average, but if you have to have their work redone, where is the cost savings in that?

So glad i stopped here for a flat tire emergency! They confirmed I had a nail in my tire and were able to fix it insted of replace. They were so honest with me. Everyone was so nice and understanding. They took care of my vehicle so quickly. Special thanks are due to the manager Nathan and technician Barry. The waiting room is also very family friendly if you have to bring your kiddos.

This is a fine establishment, the food is delicious and price per plate is reasonable. I love their cream of chicken soup! I recommend this restaurant it's one of the last Greek family restaurants around. Honey Jam bought all the rest out.
