“My mom has a tradition of buying us Fannie May chocolates around Easter and despite being well over the other side of adulthood, she's kept the tradition up. This year I accompanied her to Fannie May to pick out some treats. The place is bright and clean and smells heavenly upon entering. They have a wide array of chocolate confections to choose from, one side behind glass and the other in plastic packages. We got a mix of both, but my mom wanted their chocolate eggs behind the glass. What struck me about this place is their impeccable customer service. Sure, it's just a candy store I guess, but these ladies absolutely seemed to want to be there, to love their jobs, and to want to help. They were bright, cheery, helpful, kind, made suggestions, offered samples, made jokes. It was genuinely such a pleasant experience to shop here because of the staff! Will be back again for more decadent treats and excellent service.”
“I absolutely adore this little DIAMOND in the rough of a store. If you can imagine an old school confectionery mixed with a Baker's shop also mixed with a coffee and honey processing shop in addition to being able to buy invoke.As long as you call ahead this place is a win no matter what.”

Whoever spoke with me at the store, not sure if the owner, was very friendly (even tho I was having a bad seasonal allergy reaction and wasn't engaging ). “I come here every Christmas to get a custom-made box of candy for each of my sons and I always look forward to this visit. The women that work here are consistently, professional, friendly, cheery, and oh so helpful. Really unusual in this day and age. Today a woman named Jina waited on me and she was absolutely delightful. She gave me a couple of samples and made me feel so welcome and unhurried. Really really a wonderful experience that I look forward to every year.”

“The older reviews say cash only. The store updated several years ago and now accepts credit cards. Cash helps keep costs down.
They fill the popcorn bags. For some sizes (l only get the larger ones, so no experience with the smaller) they place a second bag inverted over the top to avoid spilling. A bit inconvenient to eat on the go. You can ask them to put your order in the next larger bag to avoid this.
I believe many or most employees are students, so tips help pay tuition.
