I travel 40miles SPECIFICALLY for Danada Veterinary Hospital!
My family and I were loyal patients to a veterinary practice in Woodfield for 25+ years. Our 2yr old puppy got sick and our previous vet couldn’t find the answer - by no fault of their own. We had to bring our boy to multiple different vets and a few universities try to find answers to this “mystery” illness. The only good thing that came from that experience was finding Dr. Gunderson. She spent countless hours with us in the office, took late night phone calls to answer questions, and took her personal time to research answers. We will forever be thankful for her during that time.
Additionally, Dr. Wallach has been incredible. Our female corgi came down with acute pancreatitis last fall. Dr. Wallach got her in right away, made sure to see her next day for a follow up, and called me periodically over the next week to check-in on her.
Because of these two, I happily pack up my bunny and travel 50min for her check-ups and nail trims - now that i’ve moved out of my family home. I will always go out of my way for Danada as they continue to value special veterinarians like Dr. Gunderson and Dr. Wallach❤️

I truly love the doctors here. They saved my dogs life and took extra measures to make sure her surgery was thorough and safe. The drs went to extra extent to take care of her and use the right medications. I've been going here for 6 years but my father has been going for 20! They truly are wonderful and caring

I am a local hedgehog breeder and need vet care often for my herd. Danada has been exceptional. They are kind, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with. They love every little spiky friend I bring in, even if it’s only for 10 minutes! Today, little Dolly got kisses from Dr. Gunderson repeatedly - involuntarily - in a way I have only seen with people who truly love animals. My last vet screamed when one of my 4 week old babies crawled up inside her sleeve. The difference is night and day.
I will be switching my dog here as well.

We brought our two mini poodles for our international trip which not a lot of vets are familiar with. Tina took great care of our inquiry WITHOUT ANY HASSLES (this is very important since international trip do have time restrictions with paperwork). I am not only feeling very grateful for this experience but more so very relieved that we finally found a veterinary practice to provide us great service to our paw members. I highly recommend this hospital with a great system across the whole team and operations!

There is no better vet in the suburbs of Chicago. We have been patients for 30 years and have never had a negative experience. All of the staff are true animal lovers and have treated our dogs and cats with love and kindness. Truly the best vet around, we feel lucky to be able to go to DV.

I can't say enough about how competent and lovely the staff are at this hospital. We've been with them for years. We take all of our pets here (cats, guinea pigs, geckos) and always leave with a solution and an abundance of information for the specific appointment. We have also said goodbye to a few and every time we are comforted and cared for in the most amazing manor. I am absolutely confident we are getting the best care possible for our smallest family members.

My 12 years old chihuahua had a major surgery overnight at the emergency vet and got transferred to Danada Veterinary Hospital in the morning. Chief of Medicine Dr. Keith Norberg took good care of him and kept me updated with his condition. He also wrote down for me such detailed in home care instructions. I am in awe by his expertise. In fact, all the doctors there are knowledgeable and companionate. They really listen to you. And the staff are simply amazing too! Highly recommend!

This place is my fav vet by far. They attend to my every need and question even if it’s over the phone. They accommodate me having my 3 dogs and I’m so appreciative of that because it’s hard to bring them separately sometimes

Absolutely wonderful, friendly, highly experienced veterinary hospital.
The staff truly cares for your animals, and provides a high level of care.
We have been taking my family's animals here since I was a child decades ago, and I have continued to take my own pets here ever since.
As a disclaimer, I did work here back in high school and college, but have nothing but the most positive things to say about both my experience as a customer and as a former employee.
You'll receive phenomenal care with any doctor at this hospital, but I highly reccomend Dr. Norberg, Dr. Wallach, and Dr. Gunderson, who all regularly see our cats and dog. Again though, every doctor and tech here absolutely amazing!

Dr. Dane and Dr. Daily are my go-to gals! These women care so much and are innovative in their treatment and procedures! I've tried other vets, but none compare. So, if that means driving an hour for appointments (we recently moved), then so be it! Thank you for all you do!

We had to put our 10yr old bunny down because he could not stand and move around anymore. I cannot say enough about all of the staff here and their compassion and care they showed to us during our time and last moments with our fur baby. They let us have all the time we needed to say our goodbyes, gave us time after procedure to say our last farewells. Spoke so kind and showed genuine care and concern for our loss and even sent us a sympathy card. I HIGHLY recommend this hospital/vet if you live anywhere in this vicinity for all of your pets needs! Their check in process is a breeze! They cone to car and get you checked right in upon arrival and they are so quick to get you in a room and seen. They are all around wonderful in every way. Thank you so much for all you did to make this difficult day easier!!!!

They do not have my pets best interest at heart. I initially heard good things about this place that’s why I switched them to my dogs primary doctor. My dog is about to be 13 years old and is prescribed a medication for life. I need his medicine and they won’t fill his prescription. Please explain to me how do you have my dogs best interest at heart and won’t even fill his prescription that he NEEDS?!!!
