Disappointed that it is no longer $1 at the Dollar Tree, some thing are even more expensive than Walmart and Michaels. I used to like going now you have to try and figure out how much something is or find an employee because it is not priced.

Is there a No star review!
The grumpiest old man who manages the store! oh my gosh I hope you never need boxes. ..I’m helping a friend pack up his wife belongings who just passed away. I explained that to the manager he says no we have no boxes. There’s aisles and aisles and aisles of empty boxes and one of the employees said here Take these we just end up tossing them. As I’m walking out of the store with about seven boxes he says no no no you cannot take those. I would never ever recommend going to the store.!

Well I must have struck a nerve with the worker Robin because she left a message. Just so you know I couldn’t help but hear your business because you all were talking while checking out customers. Again very unprofessional!! Oh yeah for your information I wasn’t looking at stickers but that’s ok. If you don’t like your job get a new one.
The cashiers are very unprofessional at this store. Today they were talking about a coworker in front of a customer while ignoring the customer who was uncomfortable. They talk about their personal business all the time if front of customers which is unprofessional. We should not be subjected to listen to their personal business. When I said something the cashier she said “we can-talk about whatever we want and it’s none of your business” I only gave one star because you can’t post without it. Taking my business to Downers Grove in the future.

Excellent store, always clean, great customer service. Managers great, cashiers are very friendly, I was reading some ov the reviews, one got my attention. SIS, MAYBE if your nose wasn't in their business you wouldn't of had a bad experience. Who knows what they were talking about mind your own. I see some frustrations there, the customers don't pick up after themselves, they leave things on the floor if they drop it, or put it on a shelf where it don't belong , gift bags mainly, pick up the bags you drop! Stealing is another issue, STICKERS you go though the stickers and leave stacks on the shelves shame on you. So before you put something down where it don't belong... think about it PUT IT BACK! You are making the store look dirty and you are doubling the work of the employee's because now they have to clean up after your bad lazy decisions
Thumbs up to the staff!

So the dollar tree advertises as the only place YEAR ROUND that you can purchase air for balloons.... after I waited for a manager she basically called me a liar and said that was dollar general.... rude and showed me that she could do it but just wouldn't because I pointed out that it was on her specific stores site. Disappointed. I just need 6 balloon filled up and I was willing to pay for it and more blooms just to get it done. She also said that she did care if it was for a church. More reason not to do it she stated. I Google it front of her and she said she was sorry... I know. now so does everyone on here.

Customers beware of possibly being cheated out of items in some of the packaging. Experienced buying the Trident Splash gum (Strawberry & Lime) where the packaging states that 15 pieces areinside. However, after chewing 2 pieces at a time, I ended up with an even number of pieces of gum or 14 pieces. I was expecting the last set to be 3 pieces to chew together and it ended up there were an even number of pieces of gum and not odd as expected. This has happened before with the same product bought at a Dollar Tree in Aurora last week. I tried calling Mondelez International on this issue last week but was told something that the product has been sold somewhere else or some other company handles this. I was not able to follow up however I have reported this to Dollar Tree corporate that this could be deceptive over time and over the quantity of the items sold potentially. I cannot speak for all other packaging of this gum if they too may have 14 pieces; however being that this has happened twice leads me to believe it could be insidious deception given how many of these items are potentially sold and over time and how many customers could be affected not noticing that 1 piece of gum could be missing for each potential package sold. Who knows what other products being sold at Dollar Tree could be using this slimflation tactic.Summary: what this may mean is that for every 15 customers who buys this product over time (even if the same customer), the customer(s) is or are getting cheated out of $1.25 as for every package that is supposed to have 15 pieces of gum, only 14 pieces may be inside --missing one piece. However, maybe the company could change the packaging andinstead of stating the misleading 15 pieces in the package, they could change it to 14? maybe? At least the customer will knowwhat to expect and not feel shorted by 1 piece of gum due to error in the packaging statement :) The company or manufacturer could be. a little more honest in its packaging advertisement or the actual quantity of the pieces inside the packaging?

They have a good variety in stock. Most are still $1.25 but they also have items that are more money. The lady cashier is very friendly.
