DuPage County Animal Services is an amazing shelter that does amazing work. The staff and volunteers are always friendly, knowledgeable, kind, professional, patient, and helpful. They truly care for each animal in their care. The adoption process is quick, amazing, easy, and smooth, making it a breeze. They are helpful with finding the right pet for each household, ensuring a good fit. Many families have adopted awesome dogs, perfect cats, and calm, sociable rabbits, who become beloved, spoiled additions to the family. The shelter also provides compassionate help for surrendering animals, taking loving care to place them in a good home. While the drive may be far for some, the experience is worth every penny. People cannot speak highly enough of them and recommend the shelter greatly.

Extremely helpful, kind, and professional. I was not able to find help in my own county and they helped me. While in the office I saw them responding to a very sensitive situation with so much care. Bravo.

Our beloved dog took his final rest on March 28, 2026 at 2017. 😢 It was a hard very emotional period. A lot of toys, leaches, unopened food, we were able to donate at their shelter of which they gladly received.

I was amazed on how clean the place is.
