I’ve always had a good experience with Sally’s. I read Stephanie’s review and I happened to be around. Let me tell you, none of that happened. She’s a crazy parking lot lady who no one should take seriously. I mean seriously who gets banned from a beauty supply store? Not sane people.
Anyways, Sabheen has always been helpful and she needs a raise asap. Will only shop at this location. ❤️

Excellent customer service from Lacy! This has been my best visit yet! She's very kind, patient, and I as overheard her conversation with another customer, she seemed very knowledgeable about the topic. Keep it up Lacy!

I always come back to this location even though it’s a bit farther because the associates here are all so helpful and knowledgeable, they know the products well and will help you out if you’re unsure what to get or what works for you. I really appreciate that they don’t pressure you into buying the products like some other stores but rather listen to what you need and give you good recommendations based off what you’re looking for. I end up coming back here way more often just because of that. And everyone is super friendly!! :)

I just left this Sally’s store in Wheaton. I’ve been visiting this store for a while. I’ve had good experiences with other employees.
Today I walked in and employees, an older lady and a guy who were very unwelcoming and busy talking to one another. As I walked in the store he greeted me in a way like (just because he had no choice). She looked at me up and down. Never did any of them ask me what I was looking for or even acknowledged that I was in the store until I approached her with a question while they were still having a long conversation, and they didn’t even move to see what I was asking about. I directed myself to her, but her response was very plain and still looking at me up and down.and honestly her appearance was poor for working in a beauty store. I didn’t even get a bag for my purchase nor a thank you. Is not the first time with these two. I thought of saying something, but I kept myself professional to set the example, but it’s good that reviews exist.

Wednesday, August 21, 2024 after close.
While driving by the entrance, 2 employees were standing in the parking lot in the path of the cars.
I slowed down gave them a second and tapped my horn because I thought they didn’t see me. One of the women flashed her middle finger.
I pulled over, stood up but remained on my driver side and told her I thought she didn’t see me. She yelled for me to get back on the car.
I realized they were closers from Sally’s.
Two days later I went to the store to inform the manager what her employee had done. Lacy, was the manager!
I asked for her boss’s information because there was no reason to complain to her.
She said she thought I was going to hit her. We exchanged statements for a bit when she asked if I had ever given anyone the finger. I have NEVER, it’s extremely rude.
She said she felt threatened which was ridiculous but I stepped back and again asked for her direct supervisor’s information. She never gave it to me.
I called corporate from a nearby parking lot. I explained what happened and said she owed me an apology.
Later an unknown caller from a nearby town appeared on my caller ID. I assumed it was the regional manager. It was the Wheaton police.
Lacy filed a complaint and now I am banned from a store where I haven’t shopped in 20 years.
The rep did call, I repeated my story and that’s was it. No apology.
The first customer service person offered me a 20% off coupon. I don’t shop there.🤷🏽♀️
It is September 12th and nothing has been resolved.

The sales associate (on 2/20/24 at about 4:15 PM was super kind, friendly, professional, and absolutely helpful, and she offered the highest customer service experience. I bought professional shears for haircutting and a couple emery boards for my fiancé.The sales associate may have even been the manager, and even if she wasn’t, she had everything it took to the leading representative of this store.She receives five stars.The only reason I gave a four star review is because the Sally itself is very clean, but possibly can use little modern renovation upgrade. I know Sally is a beauty supply store, and it’s not going to be an Ulta, but it would be possibly nice to see a little modern upgrade in the aesthetics of the Sally beauty supply stores.

I went into the store with no knowledge about what the heck I was supposed to get to dye my hair ash blonde. Thankfully the employee named Jordan came to the rescue! She was very understanding and patient with me and helped me figure out which bleach, toner, and developer to use since for my hair since it pulls so much red. Thank you Jordan for your excellent customer service! You deserve a pay raise!

normally i love this location. this time i walked in, was not greeted, then given dirty looks and attitude from the two girls working upfront. they made my experience horrible. i felt uncomfortable asking questions and even looking around. i ended up just leaving and going to ulta instead. i’ve never had this experience at sally’s and i don’t know if i’ll be going back sadly.

I would give this 0 stars if possible. We asked employee at the Algonquin store for advice on haircolor. Instead of turning out "strawberry blonde" as we had wanted, hair turned bright copper-orange. Went to the Wheaton store the next day and asked the employee how color could be fixed. She said the color loomed horrible and sold us a product to remove the color. She advised that this product should be mixed with developer and sold us a bottle of that as well.Went home and applied product. Instead of removing the dye, it stripped the hair and took ALL color out of the hair in patches! Made an emergency visit to the salon at Ulta. Per the beautician at the professional salon, the original dye should have been mixed with blonde to get the desired color. We were also told that the color remover should NOT have been mixed with developer (only water) and could have caused hair to fall out! Spent 5 hours at the salon trying to get the hair color to look better and it will still take another visit to complete the repair.Called Sally Customer Care and they did not care. We were given nothing but lip service and the representative, JoAnn, "made notes of that". They do not want to take responsibility for untrained employees and would rather deal with the attorney that I will be hiring to get reimbursed for salon fees - and now punitive damages as well.
