Jim Teran and his crew are true masters of their craft. They took their time, worked with precision, and made sure
every detail was done right. They answered all the questions I had during the process. They were prompt, professional, and left the site spotless
when the job was done. The finished driveway and sidewalk look beautiful.
On a personal note, I have two adult sons with disabilities, and Jim went out of his way to
help make things safer for them by backfilling along the sides of the new driveway —
something most contractors leave to the homeowner. That meant a lot to me.
Navigating the village permit process can be a bit tricky, and Jim helped guide me
through what needed to be done so things went smoothly.
I couldn’t be happier with
the workmanship and the integrity Jim brought to the job. I highly recommend

We had our concrete poured and added a custom border to our driveway, walkway with stairs. The results were absolutely beautiful. The owner explained the whole process clearly. You get professional, reliable and high-quality work from Teran Concrete. I highly recommend them.

Jim replaced my mom’s driveway and sidewalk to her patio. She is a senior and Jim really went above and beyond for her, from fair pricing to quality of work. He put in extra time submitting paperwork to the village, which wound up saving my mom hundreds if not more while getting the needed permits. He corrected the problems with the driveway that were there from the builders who installed it, and put extra care to ensure all the work drains away from her house. He reinforced everything and installed the new concrete with precision and attention to details. The work looks so clean and smooth…we highly recommend Jim and his crew!

Project: Replace garage slab, driveway & apron, public sidewalk, and sidewalk to the backyard. Jim Teran and crew did a fantastic job on this major project. Great attention to detail from start to finish, and top-rate quality on everything. There were some difficult areas due to property configurations, yet nothing was rushed. A garden area required some nimble footwork, but you couldn’t even tell they had been working there. All done with great care. Jim Teran gave his personal attention to every step, pre- and post. His quote was competitive with other bids, and his willingness to spend time going over the project, on multiple visits before and after, was one-of-a-kind. We had been delaying this project for years due to the size and cost, and I am glad I didn’t simply go with the lowest bidder. The quality workmanship was worth it.

I could not agree more with the many excellent reviews of concrete work done by Jim Teran and Teran Concrete. (Jim has been in the concrete business for decades.) Jim and his team replaced a large portion of concrete on my driveway and also repaired some very significant cracks (garage floor and around porch steps).
He was one of only two contractors who even came to my house to give an estimate and to discuss various options for my concrete issues. HIs estimate was accurate and more than fair for the quality of the work done. His team got started on the job sooner than expected and kept at it until the job was fully completed. (Jim was there until the bitter end, putting final touches on his work to make sure it was fully finished.) The end product is beautiful -- I couldn't be more pleased with the timeline, the end result and the cost. Before leaving, Jim gave me very specific instructions on how to maintain the concrete and how to protect it from salt damage in the winter time.
It is refreshing to work with an honest company and a team that clearly takes pride in their work. Thanks, Jim and team!

It's refreshing to work with a contractor who is passionate about their craft. Jim Teran is a true craftsman! We received multiple quotes, but he was the only one who took time to explain why certain things were important (depth of concrete, rebar for support, etc.) we had a sidewalk replaced in our backyard and now have great drainage and an easy path for a wheel barrow. The driveway is next! Look no further. This family-owned business is the real deal.

Jim Teran and Teran Concrete put in a new driveway at our home. It was clear to me from working with Jim that he is knowledgeable about his craft, concerned about the details, and committed to doing the work the right way. He communicated with us every step of the way during the project from planning, about ancillary issues that came up during the work and through the finishing stage. The work by the Teran team was done promptly and well. We now have a premium driveway done by a premium firm.

Jim Teran and his team did an outstanding job from start to finish at our home. We had a new driveway, two stoops, garage floor and sidewalks poured. The entire team was knowledgeable and approachable when completing the work.
Jim took a lot of time upon our first meeting to thoroughly explain the process of replacement, the types of materials that would be used as well as maintenance to assure longevity. Jim is an expert at what he does and has a passion for it. After talking to Jim we knew he was the right person to do the job for us. You can trust him and his team to make sure you get top notch customer service and everything completed with integrity.
During our project we ran into an issue with sinking sidewalks between our driveway and apron. Jim worked with the village to explain our concerns and the quality issues. Teran Concrete poured new sidewalks and Jim saw to it that we did not cover the cost. It is reassuring to know everything has been completed with the highest levels of quality for a long lasting driveway. Lastly, Jim and the team ensured the project was completed in a timely manner and on budget.
