Wheaton Public Library is a great and very nice library located in the heart of downtown Wheaton. It is a peaceful and pleasant escape with a friendly, respectful, and super accommodating staff. The library offers thoughtfully planned programs and has a series of tools for converting old media formats. It features a nice cafe inside with great tasting paninis and coffee, though the coffee shop hours can be limited. The space includes great meeting room and collaborative spaces, though some feel the building could use a makeover. It seems like a fantastic place to take kids, with lots of room to move in the youth section, though some toys for younger babies are limited. It is considered a true gem within the community.
Great staff, clean, cool, great cafe, and tons of books!

Very nice library! I was kind of bummed the youth section was in the basement/lower level. My 9 month old had fun, but there were not as many toys available for a younger baby though. Lots of room to move though!
