This is not for this specific location, but Xfinity in general. This company uses predatory practices when you cancel. BEWARE! Cancel your auto pay first before you cancel. They will take extra money from you than required, then issue a credit into your closed account, then jack you around for 30 days before they give you money back. I’m still waiting to see if they even give it back to me. Make sure to request a manual bill too. They will find any way to inconvenience you and laugh in your face when you try to get it back. They will also put your account on a hold and not cancel it for a week, if not longer. I had to call twice and they still kept it open for 5 more days. Good luck actually getting someone on the phone too. PRO TIP: no matter what, just say cancel my account to the assistant. They will give you a live agent right away. Each call center person/manager has a different story they will give you as to why you can’t get your money back. They will open tickets, close them without notification, and keep you out of the loop on everything. There are so much better options for internet than this god awful company.

Wiam was an absolute life-saver for my husband and me. We had been having internet issues in our new home for the past week and were fighting with Xfinity to schedule a tech to check the connection at our home. I finally got a tech visit scheduled, only for the tech to not show up on the agreed upon date and at the agreed upon time! I was furious! As a result, I scheduled an appointment at the Xfinity store in Wheaton, Illinois, where Wiam was able to diagnose the problem immediately and offer an honest solution. Thanks to Wiam, her intelligence, and her honesty, my husband and I now have superbly working internet. Thank you so much, Wiam! Keep up the phenomenal work and keep being you! This country needs more honest, trustworthy, and patient workers like you in retail business these days.

The staff here goes above and beyond for their customers. Always great customer service and way less of a wait time compared to other locations. Wheaton Xfinity is the place to go.

Ok so been here many times ...not social call. At first I looked psycho but assured them I'm not im just goi g thru life BS PROBLEM I NEVER WANTED STALKER NEEDING TO GET AWAY AND BLESS THEIR HEARTS they tried....they did especially rally two to 3 of the guys ....Matteo, Greg, and 1 other guy can't remember name. Super extra going out of way cuz I saw how they truly wanted to help me. Not their fault and I looked around never being there and it's really nice everyone! If u follow what supposed to do and go thru procedure I'm positive that this place would be eve. More busy than the day I was there. Clean, huge, plenty of parking, conveniently out of the way of traffic nice quiet cozy corner of the outskirt mall area off of Butterfield rd . Mostly men and it can be a bit intimidating but yeah just go and check it out cuz u can see the products up close showing all different brands of devices. Do not bother to call ...wait forever ! Just go! U won't regret it
They have tons of huge windows all around so u can even see how busy it is b4 getting out of car. Win win win. BTW it's pretty much like getting free help!

Phenomenal service from the mobile team up front. Super friendly right when I walked in! It might take some time but with the collaboration of Octavio, Owen, and Mateo they will have your mobile phone issues resolved.

Recently moved in the area and needed immediate Wi-Fi. I walked into the store and was greeted with smiles and staff ready to assist me. Sales rep did not try to oversell or offer me packages I didn’t need and explained everything very well. Only spent 15 minutes in store creating a new account and walking out with modem in hand. Overall great experience.

I closed out my account seven months ago.I got a letter from a collection agency saying that I owed 370 for my bill, I called up at savannity. They didn't know anything. It went to the store and it appears. I closed out the account, but they never did. Their paperwork kept the count open and we're still charging me for a phone line. That wasn't even active.
So xfinity, just lost $370. And now the account is now officially closed.
Sorry, xfinity, but you don't know how to do paperwork? You shouldn't be billing people for stuff that you don't even know how to do

The reason for my review
is because of the terrible experience I am still having with xfinity. It all started when I went to the xfinity store in Wheaton for the sole reason to give the ok for my mother in law to go off of my mobile account and on to her own. Hector helped me and talked me into getting 2 watches that day. 1 was free and was $1 or something of that nature. I told him my husband would not want a watch and he said don't worry, you have two weeks to bring it back if he doesn't want it. Well my husband knew that same night (this was 7/31). We had received one small watch (for me) and one large black watch (for husband). So I went back the very next day and worked with Jaime. I returned both watches and just wanted one for myself but I wanted the larger one just not in black. Jaime talked to one of his coworkers and they were chatting about the free watch coupon and if this would cause a problem. I then said "just forget it if it's gonna be a pain, I don't really need a new watch". Jaime said no no don't worry it will work out fine, we just need to do a ticket. So the watch I wanted had to be ordered. I left returning both of the watches and one was on order. After receiving my watch I kept getting emails telling me to return my old device. So I called and even chatted with customer service and was told don't worry we can see that you returned at the store and to ignore these emails. Well the emails kept coming, again I was told don't worry. Then I saw a pending charge for over $300 on my bank account from xfinity. I called and chatted again (see below) and had to tell my story again only to be told not to worry the charge shouldn't go through. Well the charge did go through so I called again and talked to a representative that was able to refund me the $300 & thought everything would be good at this point. Well it wasn't. I kept getting emails and texts saying that this is an attempt to collect a debt from xfinity. I called again and went through the story again and was told not to worry and ignore these emails. Well, just yesterday my bank account was debited for $470 from
Xfinity!!!!! So I called again and explained my story again and now was told that I received the refund. I explained that I was charged and then received the refund. Then they charged me again!!! Now I have to wait 7-10 days to get this watch money back this has been an absolute nightmare and have wasted so much of my time. I'm am very disappointed and upset about this
