“Cindy went above and beyond to help me with some balloons for my son's birthday. Honestly, I haven't received such great treatment from a store/service such as hers, and it was a pleasant surprise. She should be working at like a 5 star resort or something. She would be such an asset to any customer service team.”

“This store is clean and fully stock with a lot of product. the staff seems very helpful. the prices are similar to others stores, they have been effected by inflation.”

“Evelyn is a treasure with a smile that lights up the store. Not sure why my past review is gone but it wasn't a pleasant experience. It's about her character that overfills to her work ethic and situational awareness.”

“I don't go very often. This time, I loved the wow factor. Found something new I really wanted in the cleaning section. The store was full of merchandise, clean, and easy to shop. Seemed less busy, no lines.”

1505 S Lake St, Mundelein IL 60060
“This location is one of the better ones in lake county . They typically have things stocked that I can't find at locations near me and I noticed in recent years they really try to make an effort to do damage control/ recovery of their aisles and have them look the way they're supposed to. Don't let the recent one stars fool you. Those are the people that try to break a 100 by only spending like ten /have never worked retail/ rude/ put things back where they're not stocked/ let their kids run wild like it's a playplace / ect.”

89 West Golf Road, Arlington Heights IL 60005
“Great selection, the best I've ever seen at a Dollar Tree. Awesome staff! Tom, Jamie and the woman manager (didn't catch her name) were all great. They deserve raises. I spent 30+ minutes in the store and saw several interactions and all were pleasant, including mine. They assisted me with 12 balloons during a busy time and they were kind to everyone. Great location, selection and staff. Highly recommend.”

“Dollar Tree is a great place to find affordable everyday items and fun seasonal products. I love that everything is budget-friendly, which makes it easy to pick up party supplies, snacks, cleaning products, and small household essentials without spending much. The store usually has a wide variety of items, and I often find surprisingly useful things for crafts and kids’ activities. It’s especially helpful for last-minute needs or when you’re planning events on a budget. That said, the store can sometimes feel a bit crowded or understocked depending on the day, but the staff is generally friendly and helpful. Overall, Dollar Tree is a convenient and economical option for quick shopping trips and budget finds.”

“On Friday there was a young man with shaggy hair and I believe glasses too? working there. I’ve never seen a dollar store employee show hospitality like that before. There was a lady who was picking stuff out and had her hands full and he rushed over to bring her a basket if wanted it, and the. He came over and asked if I wanted him to bag my groceries even tho it was self checkout. I also accidentally clicked the wrong button and he fixed it really quick. It was just so sweet and memorable because you don’t expect someone to care so much at a dollar tree haha.”

“This was a fairly well stocked Dollar Tree compared to some others. I was greeted at the entrance. The line was halfway to the back of the store, 9 or 10 people in front of me, and just one register open. That was frustrating but the clerk was friendly while being a quick as he could.”

“Went to Dollar Tree Paletine il, Because Dollar in Lake Zurich, IL. Has gone down hill. LZ location had no air conditioning, plus they got rid of the Frozen and refrigerated units that held good stuffs. They got rid of my Favorite Pomegranate Lemonade that was held in large freezer/fridge. Paletine is my new go to store.”

“I went in to make an exchange and the cashier had to call the manager over for assistance. Manager said they don't usually take return items if it's a manifacturer issue, but he did the return for me and said they'd "assume the cost of it to keep a happy customer." I appreciated that he did the return/exchange anyway and was pretty professional about it. Now days that type of service can be hard to come by, so I left feeling good about this place and their commitment to customer service ?”

“It's a Dollar Tree so not sure what people are expecting. The prices have been over a dollar for a long time so it should come as no surprise. We always come early or late and it's not busy at all and our experience is the ladies are very nice. We come for toothbrushes and stuff like that which is worth it and maybe a small bag of candy. Keep your expectations in check and it's not so bad people.”

“I placed an order online to pick up in store and David and the other employee on staff were super friendly and helpful. David was very professional and knowledgeable about the store policies and made it very easy to fix an issue I made with my order. The whole experience was easy and convenient, i will definitely order to this store above other dollar tree stores in the event I need to make another large purchase. Thank you David!!”

“There were some problem areas but for the most part the cashier was nice, the store on this particular day was well stocked and the prices are far less than say A FAMILY DOLLAR. This is a NEWER LOOKING LOCATION so it has a newish feel some of their locations have an outdated and extremely messy feel. So I had a decent experience will be returning in the near future.”

1010 Mt Prospect Plaza, Mt Prospect IL 60056
“This location is okay, they do not have a lot to choose from. I think it's just based on the demographics in the neighborhood. Lot of boring stuff. Otherwise the store seems to be clean and organized. They don't have a lot of enthusiastic employees, but I think that's in a lot of customer service industries otherwise it's okay”
