Wheeling Park District

Hours: The Wheeling Park District is a vibrant and invaluable hub for the community, managed by an elected seven-member board. The renovated Park District Building features stunning facilities, including gyms, an indoor swimming pool, and functional spaces for various activities. The Park District offers a wide range of recreational programs, park management, capital development, and general administration services across 21 sites on approximately 350 acres. Special events like the Kids Fest are a hit, with bouncy houses, slides, free balloons, ice creams, and live music, making it a fantastic place for both kids and adults to enjoy. The fitness membership, which includes the pool, gym, and group exercise classes, is an excellent value, and the pool is well-utilized with plenty of lap swim times available.
