Considering the heat of this past Summer, the golf course was in very good condition. The only drawback I can think of was an overly crotchety course marshal that was a bit rude. It's been around 30 years since I been here and I enjoyed myself a lot.

This was our first trip here and loved every minute of it! We stayed 3 nights and 4 days and my truck never left the parking lot. Golf course was well layed out and in great condition. The staff couldn't of been more friendly and accommodating. Met several guests that told me they have been coming for years. We stayed at the Seasons Lodge and our room was very clean and spacious. Food was excellent in the restaurant. This staff will make you feel at home and tolerates most anything, Unless of course your an idiot. If you are, stay home and don't ruin this Utopia! We will definitely stay here again!! 10 stars

We stayed in the condos for our family reunion. All staff were incredibly friendly! Basic accommodations with basic amenities. We were not wanting for anything. Towels, linens, basic kitchen supplies provided. Hotel has a nice pool available to everyone and a hot tub (which we didn't use). The 4 stars is due to some items being in slight disrepair. Carpets could use a good shampooing and some basic home repair items. Plenty of outdoor activities available in the area: kayaking, boat rental, archery trail (bring your equipment), cycling (mountain or paths), fishing, golf and the list goes on. We really enjoyed our week here at Rend Lake Golf Complex as our home base!

Good place. Rooms are pretty nice. No mini-fridge, which is a bummer. Staff doesn't provide as much info as I'd like. We had to ask about wifi, breakfast, room number (not written on key pouch), etc. Absolutely nothing around for breakfast early in the morning, so plan ahead if you have early mornings meetings or engagements.

Although not the best time of year to visit, the course was very nice. Loved the layout. Rooms were great & local restaurants were very good.Rooms: No microwave or fridge, but both available in a common room.

We enjoyed our time here. The golf course is pretty. Nice pool and jacuzzi. There's a small hotel, condos and cabins, basketball, tennis and of course the lake. We'll be back.

Golfed there on the way to St. Louis. I had been anticipating playing the course for many years. I will never get those 5 hours back. I could have skipped the disinterested staff, the lack of markings on the course, and the slow and inconsistent greens. It was not worth the money to play. Off the bucket list, but not forgotten.

Rend Lake is more than a golf stop, but a destination greeting you from it’s giant, golf ball water tower, to its truly resort getaway feel, it’s something you have to add to your bucket list. First is the 27 holes of amazing golf and scenery. Regardless of your score you’ll leave with a smile on your face. But the actual golf is enough to make you say, I can’t wait to come back with a few of my golf buddies. Add the nice clubhouse and the the wonderful and huge resort rooms (on the course) and you’ll either play a second round, or head out to the lake for a day of fun with the family. Listen guys, this is a no brainer. The only thing is to make your reservation early. But if they’re full, they are other hotels in the area. Hit’em straight!
