I live full-time on Spoon Lake at Oak Run and general grocery store options are a problem. Basically I end up at the "Aldi" in Galesburg and get everything I need and for the price I want to pay, but it is a hassle at a 30 minute drive, winter driving will be interesting, ugh! For getting a few things in a pinch once in awhile, I found "Ladd's" to be better than the mini store at Oak Run. It is an 18 minute drive tho, prices are not a giveaway tho they seemed a bit cheaper than Oak Run. "Ladd's" really has their little store stuffed with many items and nicely organized considering they are so stuffed. I saw some homemade options, sandwiches, pizza but haven't tried it yet. "Hy-Vee" and "Save-A-Lot" grocers are only 20 minutes from Oak Run on E. Main St. in Galesburg, so that is your better option for full service groceries and usually cheaper prices. But I wouldn't count "Ladd's" out, I would probably shop there more if I lived in Williamsfield. Forgot to see if they sold lottery!!
