My Disappointing Experience at Wight Chevy
First Oil Change: Cleared My Tire Sensors
I brought my truck in for a routine oil change, even though I had the spare tire mounted. The only service I requested was an oil change, yet I left with every tire pressure sensor cleared. The service advisor mentioned an issue related to the spare tire. They failed to warn me that they had reset all the sensors.
Second Oil Change: Insufficient Oil Fill
A few days later, I received a dashboard warning telling me to add oil, just 30 miles after leaving the dealership. When I returned, they added oil to the truck. They said no engine showed up on their ECM code reader, that no engine codes appeared, and assured me everything was fine. I live only five miles away, so once I got home, I checked the oil again and found the level still half a quart low. I repeated and checked the next morning with the same result.
What You Need to Know
If you go to Wight Chevy for an oil change, always verify your oil level before leaving.
Inspect your tire pressure sensors after they have done an oil change service.
Based on my experience, I would give them a –10-star rating.
Avoid Wight Chevy for oil changes unless you plan to double-check their work.

Very friendly and helpful! My daughter was stranded on a highway outside of Williamsfield with a blown tire. Thankfully someone she knew in the area got her in touch with these fine folks. They came out and towed her car in and found that they couldn't repair the tire but got her spare tire installed and she was on her way. She had nothing but good things to say about everyone she had contact with. Having worked for a small family dealership myself for the last 20 years I know how important it is to give customers a great service experience.
