If you decide to get a tattoo here, I recommend Elizabeth! She always does an outstanding job and makes sure i'm comfortable throughout the whole process. So far i’ve gotten 5 tattoos done by her at Dead Serious Tattoo and will definitely be going back for more!

I went to Dead Serious Tattoos because I was interested in having traditional Japanese sleeves done. Matt Tunzi is a master of his craft! I couldn’t be happier with the multiple pieces I’ve had completed by Matt. He’s very easy to work with and he came up with fantastic design work. The shop environment is also professional and friendly. I highly recommend this shop.

Got a last minute impulse tattoo out of a book of drawings from an artist and he did not disappoint! Such a cute place, artist was soo nice and did an amazing job!!

manos did my billy the clown tattoo on my lower leg and I'm in love with it! barely felt a thing tbh. finally starting my clown leg sleeve and my first piece of it came out so night !!!! this shop is chill af and the music is very soothing because I dozed off a few times during my session. will be coming back in a few weeks forrrrrr sure

Stopped in last Saturday. It was kind of a last-minute decision. Matt, the owner set me up with one of their artists-Clay. I’ve never had a tattoo before so this was my first. I have to say I’m very pleased with the outcome and I think I’ve got the bug! Clay seemed intent on doing a perfect job and that’s exactly what he did. I’ve been talking about doing this for three years and I got sick of listening to myself so I finally did it and I’m glad I did. Cool studio and nice vibe to it.

Amazing professional artists. Respectful and welcoming environment. Clean shop. Bold bright and beautiful tattoos done by the best artists in Chicago. Don't go anywhere else for a small piece or a full sleeve. They can do it all here. I had the pleasure of getting a few small pieces here by one of the owners. It was a fantastic experience. Saw Pawlski for my first ever color tattoo, had an appointment scheduled for noon, had to go into work and he was very accommodating and got me in at 5pm later the same day even with my late notice of letting him know the night before.Got there and he showed me the design he had drawn based on my request and it was perfect, had the station set up 5 minutes later and got to work. Maños really made it about himself instead of what the idea was coming in. Really pretentious vibes when you come in and they won’t work with you to try your idea as they’ll change it completely or not do it at all. Went to a different place and they were much more flexible & willing to work with you. Avoid this place if you can
