Don’t support this stable. The horses are depressed and angry from being smacked, overridden, especially in the hot summer, and having no pasture to walk around in.

My wife and I went out riding today with our guide Dee. Was an awesome experience! She was a very knowledgeable and experienced guide who picked great horses for us! Will absolutely come back to Memory Lane and her! When we got back her daughter showed us all the barn animals and let us play with them. A very memorable experience down memeory lane indeed!

Dee is amazing! She led my two children and I on a very relaxing and engaging trail ride. I learn a little more about horses each time I visit here, but this time was especially informative. Even let us in with the sheep and the bull! Memories we will have for life!

Absolutely wonderful!My two daughters (7 and 8 years old) are filled with joy when we go to Memory Lane Stables. The horses are exceptionally patient with them, as is the instruction! Our instructor has been Shimmy, who is kind to my daughters and the animals. We will definitely continue to come back for horse lessons , thank you!

They were at a holiday event in the city & were loading up to leave when my toddler and I came outside & realized we had just missed them. A woman named Dee offered to still give my son a pony ride without us even asking, and then gave him extra time while they got the other ponies in the trailer. He had a huge smile the whole time. Really kind.

I absolutely had an amazing experience at Memory lane. I was in Chicago for my daughter’s birthday and decided to visit. We went on a Friday and was right back on that Sunday with my whole family. We had such a great time I had to plan a second visit. Everyone was so nice!!!!! And the prices were great!!! Our tour guides were outstanding and made us all so comfortable and “Dee” was so welcoming and made sure everyone sang happy birthday to my daughter, it was the highlight of our visit to Chicago, from Michigan. Every time we visit we will stop by to visit the staff and animals

Booked a trail ride for my wife’s birthday, booking process was easy. Arrived and received a warm welcome from the staff. Jimmy our guide was amazing and we had the pleasure of riding Desperado and London. Definitely will be back for another outing.

Memory Lanes came to my house for a pony party with petting zoo for my daughter's birthday. It was AMAZING! The staff from Memory Lanes were on time with the animals and set up quickly. The petting zoo included several goats, a pony, sheep, a bull and a rabbit. In addition, they provided two ponies for pony rides. The staff that came to my house were Jesse, Paul, and Lauren. They were very professional and very kind. The really wanted everyone to have a good time. They really encouraged hands on experiences. They even took the bunny out of the cage so the kids (and adults) could pet them. They worked tierlessly for the entire two hours to make sure everybody got as many pony rides as they wanted. My daugher said that this was by far her best birthday ever and she wants to do it again next year. Thank you Memory Lanes. Research says that animals can be therapeutic. I would agree. We had little kids overcome fears of being around animals. Some fed the animals. Others were brave enough to ride the ponies. And even adults smiled and enjoyed petting and feeding the animals. It was definitely a win win party. Memory Lanes is AWESOME!

Great horse and farm animal place close to Chicago in the south western suburbs.They have about 20 horses and several other animals like donkeys, goats, sheep and many chickens which are running around the whole place.It costs $45 for each session.The trainers are very knowledgeable and patient in teaching.There is a strong animal and manure smell in the stable which is expected but maybe not usual for city folks.

Booked the petting zoo and pony rides for my child’s birthday party and everyone loved it. The workers were very nice. Out of all the places I called, they literally had the best to offer for the best price!! Totally recommend. Thank you for making my child’s birthday party great!

Memory Lane is a joy to write about. I was reminded about this stable from my daughter who rode there as a bday surprise from her boyfriend. I just had to take the rest of the family there the following Thursday. In order to beat the heat, the four of us were there for the first trip out. Shimmy was our guide and took us for the trip through the Cook County Forest Preserve. He made sure we were safe and gave pointers as we were on the trail to make our traverse that much easier. After the ride, the two other horse wranglers came out to help assist my family off the horses after taking some pics of our rides. I highly recommend this business for their care of the customers as well as the horses. Great price and great facility.
