HOPELESS!! We have been Chase Bank customers (previously Bank One and First Chicago) for 50 years. The last few encounters with Private Client and the Branch Manager were very "painful". They could not get my simple re-order of checks straight. I had to go online and reorder them myself. We ended up with duplicate orders and one going to the wrong address. We had to bring in one of the duplicate orders for the Bank to shred. Also, I wrote several emails to the Branch Manager, copying the Private Client Rep. Neither one of them replied. On two different occasions, we were asked to come back at another time, since there were no Personal Bankers or Managers on duty. Last but not least, the Branch Manager did not know how to handle an insurance claim check. Sad!!

I go to this bank regularly and have rarely had to wait more than 15 mins. Usually, I just walk right up to the window, but I have the flexibility to go at non busy hours. In addition, I have never encounter any rudeness by anyone at the Wilmette location.

Terrible. They simply do not have enough bankers anytime but especially over the weekend. I think that with all the banks in the area to Compete with they really go to Step it up and improve this Shortage. Went there last weekend and waited an hour to open an account. This weekend stopped in to resolve issue related to debit card and was told that I would need to wait an hour!!! Seriously??!!

Stopped in for what should have been a very simple transaction and without getting into details, Chase's ridiculous new internal policies caused a 30 minute circus involving 3 employees making multiple phone calls to different branches. Employees were VERY rude and acted as though they were doing me a favor by trying to resolve their own internal mistake.

I stopped in today to make a withdrawal so I could give a cash tip to the salon workers across the street for an appt. As I walked in, I was a little confused because I never go into a bank anymore -I usually use the ATM. Janice Mathews, Personal Banker, got right up from her office and asked if she could assist me. She was so nice! She had me sit down, filled out the form for me and brought my money to me. She also took the opportunity to explain some other account options that might work out better for me such as online banking. When I told her I was admittedly "lazy" to set up the online account, she even offered to have me come back and she would walk me through it! Now that is some good customer service! I actually really want to get with the new century and start online banking. I will likely be back to work with her because I really liked her positive attitude and proactive "sales" approach. She was educational without being "pushy". Nice bank -very close to Old Orchard Mall.
