I am a physician and the device of this pharmacy is truly deplorable. The pharmacy is critically understaffed and people have to wait of 30 minutes or more at the drive in window. The prescriptions are very shoddy. I called in a prescription for a patient and instead of filling the prescription I called in they filled it with al older prescription from EPIC. Caveat Emptor. If you decide to use this pharmacy I strongly suggest you check your prescriptions and majke sure that they are correct.

Do NOT make an appointment at this CVS for a Covid test. I arrived promptly and followed all instructions. I was then told after 10 minutes of waiting for them "to get the test ready" that my insurance doesn't cover Covid tests at CVS. I have Aetna insurance. Whatever, I authorized the $70 payment on my card during the appointment scheduling process if insurance coverage didn't go through for some reason. They then rudely told me that "they don't accept cash for those, you'll have to go somewhere else." I tried to explain I had authorized payment and it said it would be charged after the service was rendered if insurance didn't cover it and asked them to administer the test and I'd just pay for it. They refused, again telling me that payment didn't go through and to go somewhere else.So I did, I went to a different cvs pharmacy, and guess what? The test WAS covered by my Aetna insurance and I didn't pay a cent. Don't waste your time with the rude pharmacist and unhelpful techs here at this CVS. They will needlessly waste your time.

I got to waste 50 minutes here today because they couldn't process my insurance for a vaccine (despite Walgreens not having a problem a couple weeks ago, and my insurance telling me everything is in order). And in that time, I overheard how the pharmacist treats many of the customers and refuses to apologize for any mistakes on their part. You definitely get the vibe that he couldn't care less about people. The last time I was here was a year ago for a vaccine, and that old pharmacist was so sweet that I specifically chose this one again - now I'll never be back.

I've been filling prescriptions ar this store for the past 10 years. Over the past few years, service has become absoultely terrible. Staff are rude, condescending, and unhelpful. I've been having repeated problems with refilling some prescriptions, where the company (CVS) switches the manufacturer on generics, and the new refill just doesn't work. On a few occasions, it took me multiple exchanges between my doctor and the pharmacy staff, that took several weeks, to refill some of these ineffcetive generics. However, today staff was very rude and disrespectful in addressing one of these situations. After arguing with me for 15 min, they kicked me out of the store because of "lunch break", although they wasted all this time arguing. Apparently, the store does not have a manager, so it's all these semiqualified people rotating from other locations, running the store as they please.I am moving all my prescriptions (more than 10) to Wallgreens, and never coming back to CVS. A person in the line before me said the same thing.Good lob CVS, add a fews more tousand dollars to your mounting losses!!

Worst CVS Pharmacy. On hold for an hour, as I write this still waiting, no sign of ever being off hold. Front of store said they would put me back to pharmacy because they were not busy anymore, they did not.

The staff does their best to deal with a very needy and difficult customer base (Karens/Kevins). I've never had a problem here. Good job!

The staff at the store part of this CVS is always helpful and nice. The pharmacy was always terrific, but there has been a whole new staff the past couple months and it's dreadful. They never have our medications in and they don't order it . . . we just keep returning to pick up the meds and they keep saying it's not in yet. My son had to leave for college without his prescription and they're currently 4-6 weeks behind on my own prescription. And the pharmacists now are rushed bordering on rude. I miss Lesley!

Stopped by several times on daily walks to get some water and to use their bathroom. The bathroom is a complete disgrace: extremely dirty, no soap (for three consecutive weeks!), bathroom tissue all over the floor.. Not to mention that it is a health store and pharmacy...

A+ in customer service. My son had double eye infection. My goto cvs sent me to 1515 Sheridan in wilmette for a prescription. I was arriving close to closing time. I called to see if they could stay open for me. They were happy to accommodate. Thank you for helping my son on his 5th birthday feel better! Grateful for your time. Thanks, Frazzled mom

Nice selection and excellent Pharmacy staff. I live in Skokie and I drive the extra 15 minutes to go there instead of Dempster (which is now closed) or Main.

Not a particularly good experience. Service was very slow, and the self- pay machines were constantly not doing their job. A worker had to come and help with the self- pay. The worker who helped me was very kind, though, but other staff was not as kind and helpful. It’s a shame that this location is not good, because the surrounding shops and stores in Plaza Del Lago are great!

Located in the plaza del Lago, which is a cute plaza and Spanish inspired? Came here to get a few items (before brunch) and on a Sunday late morning, the parking lot was clear and perhaps there were only two other shoppers in the entire store. I was quite surprised by their wine selection and I was even more surprised that an entire section was 75 percent off. Yes, that's right - 75 percent off!! It was a Spring cleaning day and they had to make room for their shipment. I jumped on Binny's site to do a quick price comparison and confirmed that these bottles were dirt cheap. I would have purchased more but I'm already well stocked. All in all, I purchased a $100 worth for like $27 bucks. Thank you CVS for the excellent customer service too!!

This store sucks had my worst experience ever!! With a Covid test that is unbearable and and made no sense once so ever. They have made both my nostrils bleed because of how far you have to shove the stick up your nose.

This store closes at 10pm. CVS corporate sucks. They don’t update their hours accurately. When I get to the store I was told the store closes in 1 minute. I had called CVS before I went and the automatic response says store closes at midnight. What’s your problem, corporate CVS?

Just before Thanksgiving, four of our family members (living together) went for drive up COVID-19 tests at CVS Pharmacy Wilmette. CVS really has the testing procedures down pat. The website to schedule the drive-up appointments was a bit challenging, but once we scheduled the appointments everything went smoothly. The pharmacy tech handed each of us the test kit through the drive up "drawer" and walked us through each step of the test. She even threw in a few jokes to distract us during the 15 seconds when the test swab is so far up your nose you are convinced it is going to hit your brain. In each case, the results came back within the projected time (approx. 3 days). Four negatives!
