My neighbor who is a retired vet, bought a vehicle from them. Neighbor wanted to have a hitch installed on the vehicle, was told that they would order it and let him know when it came in to install. They called 3 days ago, monday that it was in. Great! They came out and picked up his car to do the install. 3 days ago! Story of wrong part etc. Neighbor called everyday asking about his vehicle was told later today everyday. 3 days later still no part and they wouldnt bring his car back to him! I took him to pick it up and neighbor explained that it was a big inconvenience and not a good way of doing business. Never 1 time did the man apologize or anything! Would never recommend them, absolutely will not take any vehicles there!

I lost my keys for my 2003 Buick Century. George in parts has Able to find the key for me and was very helpful.Great customer service will recommend.

I was in town early morning for work and my battery died. Wilson came out and gave me a jump and was the absolute nicest about it. Customer service was great and they got someone out to me so fast. Highly recommend doing business with this company for auto repairs.

I bought a used car and 12 days later and only 50 miles the alternator needed to be replaced. I called and asked what they would do to help me- Their response was I need to speak with the owner but we should be able to help. Two days later I received a call they aren't willing to help. I informed them that Illinois has a law that covers all used cars for 14 days or 5,000 miles- Refused to listen. Know reporting them to the A.G. Please don't use them as they act like this caring dealer but in the end they are just a bad used car dealer!! Please be aware

Overall great experience! The team was amazing from start to finish! Highly recommend everyone work with the friendly knowledgeable staff over at Community GMC! Don’t care that it’s over 1.5 hours from home, we will definitely be back again in the future!

George, Frank and John:Jean and I would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere THANK YOU and gratitude for the wonderful first-time service we received on our 2014 Chevy Silverado.With knowing John Rissley, both on a personal basis, and, also knowing his awesome capabilities as a mechanic, we called him and asked his opinion on some very hefty service repairs and check engine light codes. He suggested that we bring the truck to Community GMC, and he would give it a “once over”, checking the codes and seeing what was necessary.We brought our truck into your Service Department on January 25th, 2021, we were in stress mode, due to the amount of work that was projected to be done, and the cost associated with it. We had been quoted a price by another dealer, which was astronomical, and unreasonable. This making both of us not trust the whole suggested repair or price. We were greeted by Frank, the Service Manager, we explained who we were, what we were doing there, and he engaged with us by saying “yes, John told me you were coming” and “let’s get it in to see what’s going on”. That, in itself made us feel welcomed and comfortable. His personality, friendliness and knowledge were superb. Frank provided us with a quote for the items that needed to be fixed. Still a bit of sticker shock, but we felt the trust level was there, so we asked you to go ahead and fix the truck.You all had the truck for a little over a week, taking your time to make sure that everything was completed and that the truck would be handed back over to us, almost in new condition. That it was. It is running smoothly, all repairs were completed and giving us the confidence that the truck was as good as new.We are confident in the service we received and will be sure to bring the truck back for oil changes and service when needed. We will also be bring my wife’s GMC Acadia there for oil changes and service. Anyone we know in the market for a new vehicle, we will be sure to pass on the Community GMC Name.Thank you, again, for creating such a great experience.Bert and Jean Johnston

This was not the typical dealership. George and his family were very friendly down to earth and it was a non pressure sale, didn't have to jump through hoops. Everything was cut and dry. It was the smoothest transaction we've ever had.

Always a great experience at Community! Easiest and most honest car buying experience I have ever had. Since then I have received great service on all of our vehicles above and beyond what is expected, my battery needed to be replaced and they offered to drive me the battery 20 miles away so I wasn’t stranded. Highly recommend!
