My car showed low oil. I was in Rochelle, IL on a Sunday afternoon. I had to drive 70 miles to get home. Petro was recommended to me by some people I just spent time with. I went there and they only had oil for trucks. These wonderful mechanics went across the street and got oil for my car and added it for me. I am so grateful as I know nothing about cars and was afraid to get on the interstate with the low oil showing on my dashboard. That was service above and beyond and I am so very grateful to these wonderful people.

Cleanest truck stop I have been to in a long time. Compliments to all the workers. The young lady working in the restaurant was very friendly. The lasagna was good. The cashier's were friendly and efficient. Kuddos to the gentleman keeping the lot clean and presentable. I wish the rest of the truck stops were half as nice as this one.

I've stopped here for my 10 hour break several times over the past years, and the experience is always NOT so good. Every parking space is blindsided, and I've seen so many trucks get hit by others due to this issue. When OTR drivers are fatigued, blindside backing is not something that even an experienced driver as myself, needs to be doing. Especially at the angles that this lot striped in. This location needs to re-think and re-stripe the lot even if it cuts a few spots, so please find a better engineer for this. The building itself is absolutely amazing, but the parking and the restaurant ( the food is not good at all ) kills the whole experience. Thanks. 10-4

Beautiful and clean, quick and easy stoppn place to get what you need.1 year update:The kitchen is finally open. Well, it's not a typical iron skillet or country pride, but it's comparable to the flying J's, "PJ Fresh." or the fuel island food at the petro's. It is definately a clean place to sit and relax.

Tons of parking. 3 or 4 rows pay parking which is 22 bucks, 4 or 5 row free but saw lot drop trailers. Showers are bit high at 18 bucks. Kitchen is nice restaurant and they got a Charley's steakhouse. Friendly staff.

Lots of parking. Mostly reserved spots though. Fat lady wearing a mask who works there has an attitude problem. She just looked at me workout telling me her cash register was open and I got to second in line of the other line when that cashier told me the fat lady was open and the fat lady didn't say anything to me the whole time. No thank you, no how are you. Nothing. Get out of customer service

They bring the disrespect of drivers to a whole new level: not only an ugly meal cost $18 but you get it in a " to go box" with a tiny plastic knife. I'm so glad i never fuel at Petro any longer.

Too bad they took out the iron Skillet. That had very good food. Than they replaced it with the place called The kitchen. It's a fast food restaurant food tastes like it came from a gas station.

Not a bad place. Although a quarter to third is paid parking you can usually find a place to park here. Charley's inside closes a bit early and opens close to lunch. The "Kitchen" is nothing to write home about. Five stars because it's clean.

Good parking available anytime I have to stop for the night. The iron skillet is closed and in its place is a place called "the kitchen" the kitchen sucks. It's cafeteria style , not really good selections, not tasty good, And they charge you like you are dining at a 5star steak house. Lasagna and 2 sides it came with costing $20.00!! I've had better lasagna from the freezer. Mashed potatoes tasted dirty. And who serves mashed potatoes with lasagna anyway!!??? Charley's steak is way better. This Petro serves Cajun boiled peanuts!! I get a large every time! So good. So avoid the kitchen and you will be fine!

I come here for the Cheese steaks… 2 large. Sleep in a food coma then roll out for what is known as the I80/I55 corridor death trap, so if I die, I’ll die with satisfaction of a tasty sandwich.
