I'm an Etsy seller who needs to ship out 60-90 packages a week, and I have tried several post offices in Chicago and have had multiple bad experiences with things not getting sent where they need to or getting lost in transit. Thsi is the first post office where that has been the case--AND the line is short, moves fast, and the people are kind. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

They keep returning my amazon packages even though I've shown them proof I live here in this apartment. My mail always gets returned to sender. When I call them I get somebody I can't understand so complaining is out of the loop. Would not recommend. im moving out for real this time like they have been telling everybody sending me mail over the last year.

I mailed a priority box from Florida, it arrived at the New Lenox post office by 10 am on a Monday and was supposed to be delivered to an address before 8 pm but never showed up, this is less than an hour away from this post office. It is apparent to me that this post office has bad service when delivering is quicker from the Southern states versus a delivery in the same state and less than an hour away. Why charge priority prices when post offices like this can't even deliver on time?

The USPS lady here is very rude, we also had several packages that somehow ended up not getting delivered to customers; more frequently out of this office specifically. We ship a lot of packages daily for our business and now take our businesss to the braidwood post office.

I regret everything. Karma is a b. Our normal mail lady would show up with our workmans comp checks about the time the banks would close or so close to it, it was nearly impossible to get there and we would have to wait broke for another day. We decided to switch to a po box because we heard their mail gets there around 10 am, how nice except when we forwarded our mail to them, they lost the mail or they misplaced it or sent it back to the office to which our checks came. That was over 2 weeks ago and not 1, not 2 but 3 checks have gone missing. We have asked numerous people where they are and everyone says they will let us know. Weeks we have been terrified our account was going to go under and no one seems to have any answers, I'm so hopeful every day except our mail is still not normal and this is after they said it would become regular after 7 to 10 days. 2 weeks later and we aren't even getting the berkots Ads anymore. We usually get 3 to 10 pieces of mail a day and so far we have gotten ten pieces in two weeks. Where is our other mail.???? Especially our lively hood (our checks). My mother also had hers switched, ordered 3 packages which we were told by an employee they wouldn't be sent back, from amazon 2 day shipping because that would be a hassle. She ordered them for a person coming into town for a week, we got them yesterday and he leaves today. I have cried, screamed, and given up many times. But please for the love of god could someone find our mail.

They always have A-1 Customer Service at the Wilmington Post Office. Always! Always! Always! They mostly know people by name, often inquire into the health of relatives who have been sick. In the 40 years I've lived here, I can't remember ever having a bad experience with anybody at the Wilmington Post Office.

I read the reviews before I went there. The one bad review was spot on unfortunately. Lynn up front at the desk was honestly an absolute nightmare. She asked how she could help. I said I'm here to pick up my package. She replies, well how do you know you have a package here? I told her I had a confirmation text that came in the day before. Her response, well how am I supposed to know what you're package looks like? It went down hill quickly from there. In short, bad experience. Only reason I'm giving two stars, is because Lynn was capable of getting someone else up front, who was able to stay relaxed enough to have a normal conversation with me to give me a simple answer.
