CIBC locally is great but there is no way to reach anyone except to go into the branch. The customer service line keeps customers on hold and no one ever picks up. Even if you call the local branch number you get put into the national customer service cue. There is no way to actually speak with an employee. It's very frustrating to use this bank.

Went to this bank to cash a check my client gave me. They said my driver's license was expired so I gave them my FOID card and CCW clearly state ID issued. The clerk told me they can't accept that. Found out later because of covid 19 our drivers license inspite of being expired is good until 2022. Not a good way to create good willIf I ever needed a neighborhood bank definitely not.this one
