“I am an older person who has been to many many tons of dollar stores in the Chicago area, and this is one of the best ones. ? The selection is great and they have everything you need!”
“This is a great place to shop for items which would typically cost about twice the price that Dollar Tree charges. Plastic silverware, ceramic bowls, cleaning products and alkaline batteries are a few examples. The staff is always helpful, friendly and courteous as well.”

“I had a generally positive experience at the Dollar Tree on 80th Street, and I want to acknowledge that the cashier was friendly and professional. However, after completing my purchase, I realized I never received the cold and flu medicine I paid for. I did not have a paper receipt, though the item was visible on the register screen, and staff reviewed the camera footage with a manager named Cheryl to confirm the transaction.
Despite the time spent reviewing the situation, no refund or replacement was offered, leaving me out $1.25. While I understand store policies, the amount of time and effort spent addressing such a small item felt disproportionate, especially since the cold and flu medicine was the sole reason for my visit. A simple resolution would have made a meaningful difference in the overall customer experience. After all that I need to apologize I made a mistake I had already put it away next to the flavored singles so it was in my possession.”
“Its a real dollar store where everything really is $1. I hate the ones that you go in thinking its a $1 store but its not. (I think family dollar is one of those phony imposters. If I'm wrong about that then I apologize FD but I'm pretty sure it was you.)”

“Lots of good items to get here for a budget price. Needs a bit more care with maintenance and organize items without having boxes ? just laying everywhere. It can feel overwhelming looking for things and it is hard to find the way its set up here.”
“Love this place I pass up every store closer I could go to but always drop in this location , they always got what I need and the employees are awesome. Ron very cool guy makes sure I got what im looking for & good guy to talk to humble and people's person. “I live uptown, but refuse to shop at that location. This store was like a breath of fresh air compared to the 22nd. ST. Location. The employee was extremely helpful and friendly and even appologized on behalf of the company when I mentioned the horrible treatment I received several days ago at the uptown location. The store was clean and organized. The displays were put together and best of all there weren't empty shelves and unopened boxes all over the store. It was worth the drive across town.”

“amily Dollar is a nice small store to go in and out to get things that you need.The location has had good service in the times that I have visited and have always had what I was looking for. It is pretty convenient being a smaller store to visit this store. If you are looking for a big variety of a certain product then you want to go elsewhere but generally there are a few different brands of each item to choose from.They do have a small alcohol selection as well. I look at this place like a small grocery store and small Walmart/Target in one place.”
“I've been to all the dollar general's in my area. The one in Beach Park, Zion, Winthrop harbor, this one is the best stocked with lots of options also it's one of the only stores that doesn't have a lot of boxes in your way.”
“This Dollar Tree is the biggest one in the area! We get shoppers coming all the way from Milwaukee, Racine and even Illinois coming to shop at our store! Like I always say, come here first! Then check out the other stores!”

“I love shopping here at this family dollar store plus it's close to my house the cashiers are really friendly never have no issues and if I do they will help me I feel like they All know me already especially since I go there a lot on my bike ? there's this lady short with long black hair and glasses she is really amazing I don't know her name but everytime she's in the register smiling and makes you feel comfortable I will continue to shop there that's for sure ?”
“Where helpful letting me keep my scooter and bag by front counter while I shopped for dry clothes. I had got caught in the rain, purchased shoes, socks, pants, and shirt. Also, earbuds and cigs. With a coupon, I only paid $39.”
“Busy during noon hours. Some restocking issues but better than before. Mostly one cashier during busy hours between a 10-20 minute wait. Sometimes close early due to mismanagement.”

“I often go to dollar General on Sheridan Road in Kenosha, WI. Last Friday July 5th, 2024, I stopped for a few items. The salesclerk, Gejuan assisted me. He not only helped me locate my items, but he was pleasant, and had a bubbly can-do attitude. You have a winner with that young man! Give him a raise!”
