About The Giving Point Food Pantry
The Giving Point Food Pantry is a non-profit organization that provides food assistance to those in need within the communities of Winthrop Harbor, Zion, Beach Park, Wadsworth, Pleasant Prairie, Kenosha, and beyond. They operate with the principle that 100% of all non-perishable and cash donations are used to feed the hungry. The pantry is open on Mondays from 2-6 pm, and after 6 pm, there is a mini pantry located in the parking lot for one or two emergency meals. For any other emergency food needs, individuals can call the pantry between 9-3 Tuesday - Thursday to request an emergency food box. Visitors are required to bring a photo ID and a piece of mail with their current address for their first visit. The Giving Point is described as a welcoming and Christ-filled organization, ready to serve the community with a smile and provide a variety of food options.
