About Magic Meadows Alpacas
Magic Meadows Alpacas is a wonderful place to visit, a private run family farm northwest of Chicago and an Illinois Made destination. The farm specializes in private tours and alpaca adventures, where visitors can feed the alpacas, learn about them, and share smiles and laughs. The alpacas are absolutely wonderful, friendly, and well taken care of, with the males known to soak up cuddles and attention. The farm is neat and clean, and the establishment is very friendly, both animals and humans. Reservations are a must for a visit. The owners are friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming, warm, and easy to work with, often making accommodations for guests. They offer private photo shoots with a professional photographer, private yoga, birthday parties, special events, and family or company field trips. A highlight is the opportunity to Rent-a-Rainier, a well-behaved alpaca who can attend events like weddings for photographs. The farm also creates quality yarns, roving, felted sheets, and handmade products using their American bred Suri alpaca fiber, plus Peru products. Visitors can purchase alpaca goods like blankets and knick knacks, noted for being very good quality, well made, and one-of-a-kind. The experience is highly recommended, definitely worth the trip, and creates memorable moments. The farm is wheelchair and walker accessible.
The owners are super great and wonderful. The alpacas are amazing, cuddly, and beautiful. This is the type of therapy everybody needs. We will be going again. They also have high quality alpaca products for sale as well!

We stopped not knowing the weren't open yet. But the owners stopped what they were doing to accommodate us. There were friendly and knowledgeable. And the alpacas were absolutely wonderful. My daughter and granddaughter couldn't stop talking about it. Definitely worth the trip. I HIGHLY recommend this experience!!

Sally made an exception to give us a wonderful private tour of her alpaca farm. My wife and I had a great time touring the farm, meeting and feeding the alpacas, and talking with Sally. Highly recommended.
