  Why the low scores...? I have NO idea! This is the only post office I've ever been to where there's rarely a line. And...the employees are genial...and speak ENGLISH!

  In our 15 years of going to the Wonder Lake Post Office I have had only smiles and patience from the employees there. They have always been informative and kind to me and my neighbors.

  Absolutely need to rehire people that actually want to work! As soon as I entered employee ran out back, rang the “BELL” for service a dozen times and the employee never came back out just hid in the back! Beyond ridiculous and unacceptable!!!! Never ever have I had this kind of treatment at a post office. 30 min waiting still no one is to come out and do their job!

  My only complaint is that it takes too long for anyone to come to the counter. I hate having to ring the bell cuz I feel like a bother but I always have to use it. Sometimes 3 times before anyone comes out. I just drive over to Woodstock or mchenry

  They are always short on suppllies but have plenty of attitude.

  Honestly, I have never had any other problems with any USPS locations except this one. I have lived in this town for several years, and even in the depths of Rockford, I had better service. I am proud of the USPS and their carriers, even moreso because my grandfather was one for almost all of his adult life. But every single person I have talked to at this location is rude, and I will give you the energy I receive right back to you. I had to call this morning to ask if there was a way to pick up a package of medication I was receiving in the mail today. It was required I sign for it and with a doctor's appointment coming up, I needed to see if I could get it earlier. I was told there was no way to reach the mail carrier and I would have to bring the slip in to pick it up if we miss him. Well, with the office closing at noon, and my appointment in Crystal Lake at 11:30, it was incredibly unlikely that I will be able to make it beforehand if it isn't intercepted now so I can pick it up. This medication is incredibly important that I pick it up today, as by Monday, being without it will significantly make my situation worse. When I asked about calling the mail carrier, I was told she could not call as it would be using a phone while driving. Okay, makes sense! What about sending him a message through his system? "Well, I could send him a message through his scanner. But that relies entirely on whether or not he'll see it." Okay! Great! That's a way you can reach out to him, please do so. "Okay, have a good day. *ends phonecall*" You don't even have my number to call me back if it gets dropped off for me to pick it up. I'm sorry that I am asking you to do your job, but it is your job, and I don't appreciate you giving me attitude for asking you to do your job.

  Some rude girl was there with purple hair! My whole family has had a problem with her, she doesn’t let anyone finish a sentence and she doesn’t check for anything all she says is she can’t help. What she needs to help is her figure and cut down on the snacks.

  I haven’t been to this post office in a couple years Couldn’t remember why until I walked in the door. It was the same Rude girl working at the counter. I can’t believe she still works here. She has got the worst attitude. Why is she still working here?

  I recently moved here and was told to fill out a card to have the postmaster reach out to me to obtain my mailbox key. It’s been a week and i have yet to receive a call. When I asked if there is a way to accelerate the process of getting my key the clerk told me that it takes months sometimes for people to get their mailbox keys because there are only two employees so (in her words) “they get to it when they get to it.” I was appalled by this response. Getting mail is a basic right and I’m expecting very important documents for court. While the staffing issue is not the clerk’s fault the post master needs to step it up and get the job done. Coming from Schaumburg I never had any issue with my mailbox key like this. It’s inexcusable. I intend to research how to escalate this issue
