It is not often you run into young customer service reps in retail that are as switched on as these two. They are truly a credit to the company. They deserve raises!! “I can't say enough good things about Sphinx Computer. Ahmed and Dorothy are highly knowledgeable and go above and beyond to provide their customers with superb service. I've experienced this on three separate occasions, and each time I've been extremely pleased. One example: Several months ago, I asked Ahmed to help me change from home WiFi to wired connections, in order to reduce my EMF exposure. He came out and spent about an hour inspecting my home and brainstorming solutions with me. We finally came up with a surprisingly simple system, which Ahmed set up with equipment from his store, at no extra cost. In the process, he diagnosed a computer problem that I reported and worked on it until it was solved. The total cost was very reasonable for all the work he did. To this day, my wired connections are working beautifully, and my computer is fast and smooth. It's good to know that in my neighborhood is such a friendly, reliable, and skilled team. “Very happy with the repair. Called Gustavo and asked if he could look at an older CRT desktop monitor after being turned away by another shop. He offered to pick up the monitor and call me back when he finds out if its salvageable or not. He called me to let me know it was a failing power supply and offered to replace it at a very fair price. Once it was repaired he dropped it off for me.”

“I have used Scott several times. My first experience with Scott involved a Charmille 440 CC wire EDM machine. Scott went through several boards that the manufacturer suggested could be failing. After examining the components of these boards he determined they were in working order. Turned out to be a door switch.Scott recently did an amazing job repairing the generator boards on my AgieCharmilles P550. Incredibly the machine would still run, but at significantly reduced speed. He replaced several components and now the machine is running as good as new. These are very complex boards. I would recommend Scott to anyone who has electronics issues with their equipment. If it’s not broke he tells you. If it is he is the guy you want fixing it.”

“Thank you, Cheryl!! Cheryl is a tech genius with printers. I had checked with a warranty program and explained the problem that I was having with my fairly new Epson ET-5800. Their answer was for me to box up this gigantic printer and ship it to them. No Way!! So, I contacted another very reputable computer/printer repair company and explained the problem to them. They assumed a technician needed to come to my home to fix the printer. FINALLY, I CALLED CHERYL after locating her thru Google search. I read the reviews and called and spoke to Cheryl and repeated what was happening with my printer.. This phenomenal tech savvy lady told me what the problem was in less than 5 minutes and told me how to resolve it. It was so simple that I almost didn't believe Cheryl. And, then she explained how the printer reads paper as it's creating the image when it goes thru the feeder. I was convinced that she knew her stuff!! It took me 2 minute to resolve my printer problem by following Cheryl's instructions. I told Cheryl that she will be blessed because she could have told me to bring my printer to her and charged me but she did not. Cheryl is the BEST!! I wish I could giver her a 10 Star rating.”

“I have ONLY POSITIVE things to say about this business. They were assigned to fix a warranty claim on a brand new LG TV. Dimitri was excellent in repairing my TV. As soon as the part came in from LG he was over the next day to install it. He ended up fixing the TV on my bed as that was the best place to safely work on the big screen. The TV worked for a few hours and then was back to same issue. He was back the next day and diagnosed that it was a bad panel instead of a faulty motherboard. LG sent a new panel and once again the day after it arrived he was at my place to swap it out while a blizzard raged outside.”
