This is the SECOND TIME I ordered from their floral dept. And my order was not ready! Both times were helium balloons. I seriously had to wait until a person was called to the floral department, tried to find the order which was not ready so they had to get it ready. Get your act together!!!!!

Misleading price tags. I asked the lady working there why my app doesn't work on the digital price of the butter, and she said that the price is from last week and that it's expired. She said she works as fast as she can to change the prices on the aisle and advised me to take a picture of the price, but still, the aisle had wrong prices on yogurt, etc and it is not fair and misleading to the costumes.

I went shopping here one day and I got a bunch of things when I came back home I opened I bag of chips and it tasted weird and I have always bought these chips and they always tasted Normal and like I said it was really off so I checked the bag and it was expired by 2 months so i went back to the store and forgot about the situation and I remembered I should check my items to see if anything else is expired and half of my stuff were expired by a month or so ago then I went back to the chips I bought and checked the back to see if it's expired 8 of the bags were expired but from one brand so I imagine their being way more expired chips in other brands just I didn't check so I took the bag of chips that was expired and told them nicely that a bag of chips is expired then they rudely took the bag and walked away right after that I put my things away walked away and never went back. Worst option never recommended.

What a great store??? I will not be returning anytime soon. My skin color shouldn’t bother anyone anymore. Someone should review the night management. I don’t feel comfortable going here. My rewards didn’t go through and usually management is able to help and fix it in the system. He treated me like I was less than of a person and if my skin color isn’t the issue maybe he has a thing against women. I’d never think at Jewel I wouldn’t feel welcomed. My father worked for the company for at least 20 years before retiring and would be disappointed to know how jewel is operating.

Two days ago I walked in late at night to grab some ice cream. Asked the guy with the beard behind the western union desk if he can do 20 dollars in quarters, he said “sure for you I can.” Today I walked in to do that and the lady says only ten dollars. I mentioned that I came by just a day ago and the gentleman said 20 in quarters is fine, she started to be combative and asked the western union clerk. She says “see I told you only ten dollars”Not professional whatsoever. Contemplating if I should ever come back just because that experience. I come here all the time.

We were excellent customers big this particular Jewel but the store director and customer "service" representative were verbally abusive over the phone. Made me cry and hung up on me. This was over a simple raincheck question. The CS person lied to me also. This is no way to treat anyone yet alone a good customer. Reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and they have lost our business too. Shocking Jewel would employee people like this.

I shopped at Jewel at the Wood Dale IL location this morning, 8-7-23. I was at register 3 around 9-9:30am. I bought a bunch of food and 1 deep conditioner. I paid for my food using my SNAP card, and I paid for my deep conditioner with my debit card. I didn't realize at the time that I didn't have enough money for the deep conditioner. So, I told the lady at the register to remove the deep conditioner. She had to call over 2 different women to help her remove it. The women she called over had such attitudes and humiliated me in front of everyone. She told me to swipe my card again but didn't specify which one. So, I swiped my debit card. Then she snapped loudly at me to swipe my SNAP card, and everyone in line heard her and were giving me dirty looks (except for the nice gentleman behind me) . Then, after I swiped it, she completed the transaction but didn't tell me she was done. So I had to ask her, "Am I done?". She said yes in an annoyed tone and handed me my receipt.Over the years, I have been treated very rudely by your staff members (mainly the older women) . And I have bought expired products and didn't realize until I got home that they were expired. Why are you selling expired products?! Why are you employing rude and mean people? I will never shop at that Jewel again, and I will tell everyone I know .

The level of sprayed fragranced in the store is too much if you are sensitive to fragrances like me. I can't even do pick up orders, they are highly sprayed and they make me sick. I have tried to contact store and totally ignored so I had to stop shopping there. There is no need to that level of smell. They are toxic for many people and cause asthma, migraines in a lot of people like me.

Watch the wt scale in the produce department, its always off by a quarter pound. this has been writen on June 22, 2023 and today, July 15, 2023 the scale still hasnt been fixed or replaced after assuring me it would taken care of. Nothing like cheating you 1/4 lb of cherries you didnt get but will play for it Everyone gets a receipt when checking out and paying for your groceries, why put those stickers on your purchase? If they want to check if you didnt pay for a product, you have your receipt.

We are a big fan of this Jewel, which is corporate owned. We normally Drive up and Go. Lori remembers both my husband and I and is always so friendly. We so appreciate her so much. She makes sure to never crush or pack our groceries and always tells me if there was a substitution. This past week I stopped in to pick up flowers for my daughter's bday and Katie helped me. A family member works at a high end florist, but I can't afford paying three times as much for flowers to have them arranged. Katie helped me pick flowers and arranged them beautifully and it cost me less than 1/3 of what the same bouquet would have cost me at the big name florist. If you need flowers for ANYTHING, visit Katie!
