This is not my standard Walmart, but I visited it for the first time and I was impressed with the size and the service. I'm probably wrong, but it seems bigger than the ones closer to me in the Crystal Lake and Algonquin area. I felt like navigating this location was simple and intuitive. The aisles seemed wide and comfortable to walk through without having to navigate around other shoppers. Lastly, the greeters here were very friendly and bright, not the typical sad and tired "hello"s that I'm used to. It's too far for me to go to regularly, but when I'm in the area, it's a great go to.

So when customers are at the counter the people in the back look at you and continue doing what they're doing! Clearly customer service is not a priority at this Walmart! February 23rd 2024 and inside the Walmart I think they're struggling because it is so cold in here everybody's wearing a sweatshirt! I guess they're struggling financially OMG! ?

seemed very understanding to my concern and said he'd follow up with the associate. My only other issue has been that they don't really keep pets from coming inside the store so that's a bit frustrating. My service dog has been barked at, lunged at, etc and even one of the associates have told me a mastiff comes in and nips at people??? Crazy. Some of the greeters are so sweet and ask the proper questions regarding service dogs, one of them even talked to me for a good 5 minutes asking me questions about the laws to educate herself. But I'd say since I moved here a year ago I've only been asked 3 or 4 times "is that a service dog" and "what tasks does he provide" the questions you are supposed to ask to prevent pets and ESAs from entering. Keep in mind some of the times I've only been asked "is he a service dog" and not the follow up question so that's probably how you're getting so many fakes in your store. Emotional support is not a valid service dog task per the ada. Basically staff is super sweet, I have conversations with most of them and they are amazing. Love the girls at check out. However I wish Walmart as a company trained their employees better in ADA/Service Dog knowledge. So many PET dogs that shouldn't be allowed in store are in the store and it's unsafe (especially a nipping mastiff).

My go to store in Woodstock. If I only have time for one stop it's got to be Walmart. In vicinity of Aldi, Menards, and Farm and Fleet too.

This might be my favorite store in Woodstock il (which is where I live.) This store was my childhood and it means a lot to me. I always shop here for food, supplies, products and more. This store is the goat and if it closes, then I'll be desperate and upset. Please keep this store alive for years so I can enjoy shopping as I can... Thank you!

Karen is a Karen at customer service who should of done her job correctly. You don't get enough to be a Karen if someone pays with a ebt card. I used my link card for a Walmart pick up and my bread had a whole in the bag plus it was the wrong bread. My husband goes back to return and Karen at customer service with the blue vest on tells my husband to go back and get the same bread. We don't want it. 3 times it was said she's still saying even exchange with the same bread. I'm sorry are we brain dead. Your treating someone like this bcz of a link card. I told my husband that was unexceptionable to go to a manager and the guess what. Manager fixes it immediately. I wish I had your name to say thank you for not discriminating and doing your job. Karen you better think, Walmart already has lawsuits. Karen couldn't even take $3 bread back. We didn't want money, just fresh bread.
