I bought 2 boxes of cheesey bread and both breads were rock hard. Couldn't eat them. Waist of money. Hard, no flavor, the bread and the cheese were both hard.

The dirtiest store I've ever been in the coffee stations is always a MESS not clean and always out of stuff, there's a lady there in the mornings not very welcoming i think she's the manager.
The one on 111th and roberts rd. Is a thousand times better!

Mens bathroom always reeks of pee, no hot water from sink ever, no paper towels frequently, toilet has crap stains inside and out consistently.
Roller grill is often filthy. Roller grill utensils look like they are never washed and neither their holder.
This place is nasty dirty. What's wrong with your management? Incompetent? Until that's changed I'll go to Thorntons on 111th and Roberts Rd. Their bathrooms are spotless and so are the food stations.

Tried to get some lemon packets near the drink station. They were covered in a brown liquid that had dried them all together. They looked like they had been that way for a long time. After I smelled my hand after touching a couple, I realized my hands now smelled like urine. I went to the restroom to wash my hands. The sinks do not work, the toilet was covered in feces, and the sinks did not even have running water. I rubbed soap on my hands and walked out. This is usually my morning stop for a drink and a snack. I won't be back again until I hear a new manager has been put in place.

So today's adventure in pettiness takes us to Thortons @ 11120 S. Ridgeland. I shop at Thortons on a very regular basis. Up until recently it was 5 to 6 time's a a week . So I also 99% of the time go to the Palos Hill's store typically. Today I went here. So I got my 15 bucks in gas paid for it. Then I remembered that I had a drink that was a little warm so I figured I will ask for a cup with some ice. Keep in mind I have spent a couple few thousand dollars throughout the years. So I asked the young lady filling up the roller grill items if I could have a cup with some ice ? Her response was yes sure no problem. So I got my cup started to fill it up the lady said make sure you check with the cashier I said oh ok. I went up to the line 1 person no worries I waited till it was my turn . I asked if it was ok to grab a cup with some ice . The guy behind the counter range it up ? I looked at him and I said dude its a cup with just Ice ? He had me put my rewards info in . It went from .98cents to .74 cents . I then said well I will take a pass. Shook my head in disbelief and said never again will I darken that door way .Full disclosure the cashier said oh here you go . No by that time it was too late. I will never understand the pettiness of some people. Here is a loyal customer who spends real money in the store . Also by the way this location has 5 one armed bandits in there that is a 5 to 10 K a week in gross sales per week. As an extra for that store. They are making a very nice extra sum of money. So let's say the total cost of a cup is maybe 5 cents to 10 at the most with the ice factor in the electricity for the machine. So for 10 cents you pretty much slap a customer in the face by strong arming an extra .76 cents out of the customer. Way to go guy. By the way the lady who runs this store is very nice and I am sure she would have gave me the cup of ice .

How about putting a better sign up without yelling at customers.

I went to this thortons at 5 am on thursday september 5th. To gas up and get some snacks,so I figured I needed to go the register to get gas. As soon as the gentleman behind the counter saw me he automatically closed his register and told me to go the self checkout. Mind you he is the only cashier so I didn't understand what was the point of him closing knowing I was coming to check out. His motive was strictly to flirt with a girl rather than do his job. Safe to say I will never come back to this one

Well you can tell whoever is working the register tonight doesn't want to be there. Dirty looks and attitude after she sees me come into the store, but decides to go in back for 5 minutes while I wait. Don't be ignorant. I won't return to this location for sure.
