We called Tom’s to repair an old refrigerator. We left a message and they promptly called back to set up an appointment. Dave came out to look at the refrigerator. With the refrigerator being fifty years old, we were doubtful that we could even get the necessary parts. Dave arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the issue and repaired the refrigerator. Dave was very polite and courteous.This was our first experience with Tom’s Appliance Service and couldn’t be happier. We will definitely call them for any future needs.

Needed work on our dishwasher. They came out the next morning. Fixed it for a reasonable price. Nice people to work with.

Garbage company with an awful answering service! If you need something fixed do not call them I've been waiting over a month for my washer to get fixed and in the hole $400. Wish I would have just gotten a new washer, instead they told us it's a great washer to fix it. A month into this fiasco they are. ow ghosting my calls and make false promises that they are coming and never show up! Judging from their 2 stars I'mnot the only one with problems!!!!

We have used this company for years and have no complaints. My appliances have always been fixed on the scheduled day. The prices are fair and the repairmen are very knowledgable and capable.

I've been using these guys for years and I'll keep going back. Reading some other comments people seem to think they're rude. Dave has been to my house a dozen times, he's an excellent, blue-collar repairman, not a cashier at Chick-fil-A. He's not the most bubbly person you'll ever meet, but he's very professional and no nonsense. He shows up and goes right to work. He's been extremely polite and respectful to my wife and kids while in our house. Any issue has always been explained to me, and they have always been upfront with me regarding price and parts. I was told when parts were going to take longer to come in, and explained why. If you want your appliances fixed professionally, and the right way, give them a call. If you want someone to have a friendly conversation with, call your local church.

I had to click a start but i rated No Stars, A Person by the name Dave says he's the Owner of this Company when I asked his name to make a Complaint, he came into our home with a very bad attitude didnt want to put the shoe covers on his feet and threw his tools on the stove while my mother's food was sitting, when I asked him to move it he got very angry, then after about 15 mins he stated we need a new Refrigerator and proceeded to walk out and threw the shoe covers on my mother's table where all of her other food was, thus company needs to do better or be shut down and I will see to it that the Better Business Bureau gets involved immediately, he needs retraining on customers service skills and how to act while on the job. He also stated I NEED TO THROW AWAY THE SHOE COVERS AND THAT I HAVE A GARBAGE CAN. I will be seeing to it that this is reported. I did talk to a lady at 708 429 0799 and she answered and stated he is always like this with people I continued and told her she needs to retrain him and he also was yeahing racist remarks in the hallway while leaving saying I was a Stupid Nigga, im very displeased.

Not a Company I would recommend. Scheduled an appointment. They asked what time would someone be home. Not until after 5pm. Ok not a problem they mentioned. The appoint was scheduled. They called the day of and said a repair person would be there between 4 & 7pm. I mentioned there would not be any one home until 5pm and after as I mentioned earlier in our conversation. This would not work for me. Can we reschedule. The appointment was rescheduled, after 2pm, two days later. they called the night the appointment was cancelled & said someone will be there in an hour. This appoint was cancelled earlier in the day. "Oh, it was" Yes it was. Scheduled for Wednesday after 2pm. She mentioned," oh I did not see the notes on my desk. Ok we'll give you a call in the morning the day of the new appointment day. OK that day came. I traveled from out of town for the appointment. Around 1pm the day of I had not heard from them. So, I called the office & got the answering service. Left message with them. They will pass it on. So, they called me back hours later & said they could not have anyone come out. What!! You're a reschedule from Sat.? No from Monday. Do you have the correct customer? I had a scheduled appointment. She did not see it on the schedule. I mentioned all the conversations, but that wasn't me you spoke with, being argumentative, I had with various people from the company. It did not faze her. Will you be home tomorrow? No I mentioned. I'm traveling back for work.. What time she mentioned? 4:30am. Oh I can't have someone there at that time!! She mentioned I'll see what I can do to get a repair person out this evening. No should luck. Called me back in the evening. I can't have any one there this evening. I WAS SO MAD. TRAVELING 2HOURS TO MEET WITH A REPAIR PERSON. AND A NO SHOW!! NOT HAPPY!!! That's fine. I already found a company that can help me. Will not use this company ever again. So be very cautious when selecting a repair shop!! BAD REVIEW!!!

My dryer broke in April. Tony came out and "fixed" it. I called back to say the problem wasn't fixed. He told me he had to order another part. Called a few times with a few different excuses. I finally got Mary Lou on thr line because I was so upset. She said she would look into it. I got a call the next day telling me part was never ordered. She told me she ordered it and ill have my dryer working within a week. 4 weeks later nothing

I had an appointment scheduled with them this morning. They called me at 9:28 to give me a window from 12-2 leaving a voicemail and asking me to confirm. I called back at 9:35, someone answered and confirmed, said you are good to go, someone will be there 12-2. I then got a second call at 11:39 saying I’d have to reschedule since I hadn’t confirmed. I called back at 11:55, again someone answered, and I explained I confirmed, confused why I got a second voicemail, she said would give a message. I got a call back at 12:45 from a very rude woman who said she never got my messages, tech out of area, and I’d have to rescheduled. I explained I had confirmed, said I had someone specifically at my house waiting since I wasn’t home, and asked that they come. She was rude and said maybe try answering your phone. I said I had called back within 5 minutes, etc. she wouldn’t hear it. I have three young children and as most mom know a Saturday morning is busy and it’s hard to actually answer, apparently calling back 7 minutes later isn’t good enough. Just want people to know not to waste your time scheduling something with them.

I hope I am never in a pinch & need to use this company ever again. Dave was late coming out & extremely rude….saying hello was a problem for him. …but when he was looking at our fridge I asked him if he saw the problem & he RUDELY said, “No….do you? Cuz you’re looking at it”…..I left MY kitchen & said “you let me know when you find out”. I should have told him to get out at that moment!….but I needed my fridge looked at…..but that didn’t work either. He pulled off a part, said your compressor is gone, better for you to get a new fridge, ……..& that will be $85. He said $65. to come out & $20. for his time & that this was a good price. I called their office to say how rude he was & to find out about that price. Hopefully he knew what he was doing because I ended up purchasing a new fridge. Probably not a good idea to be rude when you go to customer’s house and there are other appliance shops that need business. Probably not a good idea Dave and staff at Tom’s Appliance.

Dave came out on a Friday evening at 7:00 pm to fix my refrigerator that was humming and overheating. I was afraid something would catch on fire. He knew immediately what the issue was - compressor fan, had the part and replaced within the hour. We have used Toms appliance for years and have had great service. They are honest, hard working folks.

The compressor in our refrigerator was over heating. Dave from Tom's Appliance Service came out Friday evening and replaced the fan and fixed the problem. We were great full they came out, new what was wrong, had the part and fixed it so quickly.

They came out to fix my fridge within the last 6 months. I specifically asked the repair man if he didn't replace the right part and I still had issues would they come back out. He assured me I had a 1 year warranty. The fridge is still leaking so I called to schedule another repair and get my fridge fixed. All to be told its 90 days and I should have called sooner. Needless to say they would charge me again to look at it and repair it. I canceled my appt. Not doing business with them if thats how they want to warranty their work and send a tech out providing false information stating I have a 1 yr warranty.

Best advice I can offer “STAY AWAY”. Service was good until he started adding & adding to the point a part I did not need & additional charges not agreed upon.
