Everytime I go to this location everyone working is rude as hell. “Manger” complains about blowing up balloons and David is always unpleasant. Very poor customer service every single time..

Store is always packed with stuff. I don’t know why they call it dollar tree. It’s turned into a dollar general. Now you have to watch the prices. When you think something is a dollar 25 it’s now 5 dollars. Totally misleading to people. Especially the older generation that shops there so much.

I go to this Dollar Tree often, sadly after giving Deb the benefit of the doubt that she might have been having a bad day the other times, clearly after today's experience its evident that this is how she is all the time, an employee with poor customer service skills. She doesn't even say hello when you arrive to the checkout, scans your items, and then the only words you get from her are "do you need a receipt" I politely answered and she just handed it to me, no "thank you for coming, have a nice day, take care," nothing! So, I guess I shouldn't be surprised with how poorly she handled my situation today, when I lost to the strong wind one of my balloons, and she very rudely told the other employee, "no they would need to pay for another one." Again, I understand the business point, it's not what you say, but how you say it. Hopefully from these reviews you can take the good and praise the employees that do a good job and for the ones that aren't so good, these reviews can be a good resources to train these employees on how to do better. Especially when the customer isn't being rude or nasty to you.

I was just at the Yorkville and the Store manager and Her crew were very professional. I spoke to Mickey the store manager about items I needed. She was so polite and professional.
I know being a retail environment is stressful, but Mickey was above and beyond. The rest of the Dollar-tree stores should take her example on running a store. She made my day.

I was there today and witnessed first a very rude manager yelling at elder people. She then turned her anger on me and asked what am I starring at. Other shoppers called 911. This manager should be dismissed immediately. I would like a phone call from any district person in charge of the Yorkville store. I live in Somonauk and listed in the phone book.

trash customer service the store manager or person that was wearing a pink shirt and looked like she was with her son was more worried about a movie they had to go to then helping the long line they had.

Employees are more concerned with talking back and forth with one another than helping at check out or cleaning up the store.Not a word was said to me, not even my total, at check out. I said thank you and nothing. The ladies were more engrossed in continuing their conversation than talking to any customer. The same was happening at the balloon counter and elsewhere in the store. I was going to inquire about more black foam poster board, since the ones on the floor are covered in spilled silver paint, but what's the point.
