They provided excellent customer service as a team when I ran into problems with my prescription and my insurance company. It took us a whole week, but they teamed up with my doctor to help find a solution

This Walgreens is right by my house. I frequent it when I need any prescriptions filled, any over-the-counter medicines, late at night, etc. I recently went through the drive-through to do a COVID-19 test. I waited over half an hour past my appointment time because of how slow the line was. Once it was my turn, it went fairly quickly. They're very straightforward about the test and told me it would be about a 24 hour turnover. it has been over 24 hours and still no results. I tried calling them and I get a message saying the people working there won't have my results and can't give them over the phone. Then it hangs up on me. I've also had some problems with customer service at checkout up front. There is at least one employee there that looks absolutely miserable there. She makes passive aggressive comments and customers can hear her. She is blatantly rude to customers when they are just trying to get in and out. The pharmacy is severely short staffed. It's a disaster over there. But it's walking distance to our house, so... Gas is too expensive to be driving to any other Walgreens.

Worst Walgreen's in the Yorkville/Oswego area. Went in for my Covid booster and flu shot. Waited 25 minutes past my appointment time and they were not busy. They ask me to sign the release form and the pharmacy associate puts the pen down on the form for me to use and then picks it up and takes it back leaving me nothing to use. No indication of where to get a pen and ignores me when I ask for one. Then when asked to wait 15 minutes after the vaccines I decide to look at magazines. I see some for meal prepping near the register and I'm paging through them. The cashier asks me if I'm ready to check out and I explain I'm waiting the 15 minutes after my vaccines. She says "Well you can't look at the magazines unless you buy them. " I couldn't believe it, I was actually ready to purchase the one I had in my hand for $12.95 because they give you a coupon for $10 rewards if you spend $1 or more on the day of your shot. I was so angry I just left. Worst customer service anywhere. Don't get vaccines at or shop this location!

I had a scheduled covid booster shot for 10/25 at 8:10pm. I live 19 miles away and no one bothered to call me to let me know they were out of vaccine. The same thing happened to me at their Montgomery location. This location gets a zero for lack of communication and follow through.

I just wanted to come here and say publicly that Peggy from the Walgreens in Yorkville on Veterans Prkwy is the most amazing employee. I have a medically complex child and visit the pharmacy quite frequently. Peggy is wonderful. She always asks how my son is doing and is so very sweet. Today, I spent 5 hours going back and forth with with the pharmacy, insurance company, and the physician I was so frustrated and all I wanted to was get my sons seizure/hyperekplexia medication refilled. Peggy made phone calls, checked in on me, and was the first person that made me feel like there was someone else out there besides me that actually cared about my son’s well being. Peggy goes above and beyond to ensure her pharmacy clients are taken care of. She deserves a raise and huge recognition for all her hard work!

This might be the worse Walgreens location I have had to deal with both as a healthcare provider and customer. They take an incredibly long time to fill Rx's and can't do most things like update insurance through the driver through. It's worth driving further to avoid this location.

Worst...pharmacy...ever!!! Spent an hour on phone with insurance (who spent 23 min arguing with the pharmacy on my behalf). They refuse to refill my sons Rx staying a state law that Blue Cross says doesn’t even exist. Snootiest, most sarcastic pharmacy techs around! Pretty sad when BCBS says they are reporting the case. And the buggiest kicker is the other Walgreens filled the prescription hours later with no problem. Idiots.

I have been trying to refill a prescription 3 times now. We get an automated call from Walgreens saying it is READY .....then when I go there to get it, they say I need an insurance card, even though they told me the last few times I did NOT need to bring it since I am now "in the system" Well they keep giving me this same story. They just tell me...."it's the computer" Come onnnnn'
