“The $tree there is the BEST!! Everyone there is so nice and helpful. I refuse to go to the one on york house and lewis. Managers work there employees to death and when they are busy they just stand there doing nothing with 1 cashier. They should all be fired!!”

“We visited on a Thursday afternoon/evening. There was ample and free parking. We opted to move our vehicle from one end to the other as we shifted from one end to the other. We assume most would do this at this location. We visited about six different stores. This is an outdoor, not covered outlet mall. It was sunny but the wind made the otherwise tolerable temps very brisk. We didn’t visit the food court building. It looks to be a good sized building. The staff on the stores we frequented we friend and helpful. Neither of us found much we decided to bring home with us. Although there is a nice selection of stores to choose from, the “outlet” suggests great prices. Comparatively, we didn’t feel pricing was compelling.
We didn’t look for restrooms, but would figure there were some in the food building in the middle of the complex. This may not she a super kid friendly location as it is a large spread out complex with a lot of walking and walking outside to go to each store.”

“Gurnee Mills is such a solid mall — always clean and packed with options. There are tons of stores and restaurants, so whether you’re shopping for clothes, grabbing a bite, or just walking around, you’ll find something to do. I love that it’s more than just shopping too. There’s an ice rink, an arcade, and even a movie theater, so you can easily turn it into a full day of fun. It’s especially great if you’re with family or a group because everyone can kind of do their own thing and meet back up. Plus, it’s conveniently located near other stores and even Six Flags, which makes it perfect if you’re making a whole day (or weekend) out of being in Gurnee. Definitely one of the best malls in the area!”

“I love this location such a great atmosphere and it smells really fresh and clean they always have fresh produce and my main focus for coming in here is always there essential oils and their soaps and shampoos. And the prices are high but you're getting very good quality products and a lot of these things you have to go and look at them online or as you get to go in the store and smell them and examine them for yourself read the labels and I've always liked that and I really like their chai vanilla chapstick.”

“The store manager “brittany ” is absolutely incredible. When I came in for heel pads specially for heels- she knew exactly what i meant and needed. Anytime I’ve stopped in she has always welcomed me in a professional manner. I would recommend this store especially if brittany is working because she never fails me. Thank you brittany.”

“Great store with a surprisingly large selection. A little higher prices, but for the convenience it's worth it on some of the items or on a late night run for snacks.”

“First time to this Navy Exchange store!!! Has an abundant amount of Navy clothing items, souvenirs, hats, water bottles, keychains, lanyards, mouse pads, pens, etc. Good selection, prices are kind of pricey, which is expected. Sizes are limited for certain types of clothes, though. Like the Navy emblems, logos and signs. Good customer service representatives working there. Parking can be a hassle, though. And it can get pretty crowded in there as well. So, please be aware of that.”

“Overlooked, misunderstood gem. It's an old-school mall from the 60s that's repeatedly adapted to the times and community. The mall is kept respectably clean and the personnel who work here are friendly. The vendors are chill and welcoming. I frequent this mall several times monthly and occasionally bring friends and family from out of town. The vibe has never felt unsafe.

There are vacancies, yes, and don't expect the usual mall fare. The merchants here are all family and minority-owned. Many have been here for decades and it's a great place for launching a startup. Food options rule (try the elotes at Pollo Rico, or churros at Ortiz). The dollar store is a trip. Cash is king. Lot of community events every month with local/handmade vendors, live entertainment, car shows and even more food (look for the tamales). The theater is running again by local artists -- it hosts local music, indie film festivals, podcast recordings and shows free throwback movies a few times a month.

Ignore the racists. This mall rules and people do care for it.”

“I went to the dollar general in this small plaza and it was a decent shopping trip. Outside of the whole place isn't very clean, and there is stuff everywhere outside. But the inside of the store was fine. Just a few spots like the kids area and especially the clearance needed some tlc. But besides that, I found everything I needed except one item which I didn't really need anyways. The employees even let me take some receipts so I can scan em for cash! Speaking of the employees, they were kind and helpful too. Pleased with my trip. ??”
