Bill is a phenomenal man. He runs the best auto body shop in the area simply because of 1) he sincerely cares about his customer. 2) he and his employees do top notch work for a fraction of the cost of his competitors. 3) he also has empathy for his customers and the situations they are in and works with them to help get their cars fixed and back up and looking amazing. He specifically has been a god send for me and has allowed me to get my car fixed little by little and I will be forever grateful and indebted to him! Thank you Bill so much!

I for one would like to see more people run their businesses like Bill does. This man went out on a limb for me when I was hit in an accident. He works with his customers and he is a top notch guy in my book. He has been letting me slowly come in and get my repairs done and is a saint for doing so. Bill & team did an AWESOME job fixing the rust on my 15 year old car.Done beautifully, for a very fair cost, and even on time as estimated.Bill & team hand formed a replacement part and it's seamless. The owner of 6th Auto Body helped me by paying $1200 to get my car out of impound in June 2017. We had an agreement that he would sell the car and split the money with me. Before I left Anderson in June 2018, he was trying to sell the car for $6000. I called a few months to check in with him. He did not return my call. So I had my friend call 6th St. Auto Body acquiring about a 2011 Nissan Versa for sale. A woman informed her that it was sold last year. Very dishonest of Bill Thompson, especially as he claims to be a Christian. In response to what you said: Please accept my sincerest apology. Next time I will ask your permission before posting a review of my experience with your business. If it's any consolation, I thought you did a great job back in December 2016-January 2017 on the repairs done when a woman sideswiped my car (the same one you sold!). Since you don't normally sell cars, surely you would remember the one you did sell.

I'm sorry it took me so long to write this but here goes. I just happened to find Bill's auto when my husband and I needed a place to fix my husband's Mercedes and I tell you Bill and Sheryl are the best they treated me like not a customer but family. The work Bill and his guys did goes above and beyond what anyone would expect. The Mercedes looks brand new and I am so excited. I will ALWAYS take my cars to Bill and his guys actually I'm taking my little truck next. Words can not express the gratitude I have for these guys. So PLEASE before you take your vehicle anywhere give Bill a call and see the miracles he can do for you he is top rated in my book. Went there to get my hood on my car looked at, well since they I was a girl they were like we can save your hood. The owner told me once you get the mechanic work done I'll fix your hood keep in mind I took my car there on a Tuesday and then Friday the owner decided he wanted the mechanic work done. So you keep my car for 4 days. Tell me and my dad after the mechanic stuff done to my car. Well got my car back from the mechanic, go to the body shop. They told my dad I thought you had another hood to replace the old hood. They told my dad we would have went and picked the hood up WHY AFTER 2 WEEKS YOU TELL ME AND MY DAD, THAT YOU COULDN'T SAVE THE HOOD LONG STORY SHORT FOLKS I BELIEVE THIS BUSINESS IS A PLACE THAT TRIES TO SCAM IT CUSTOMER AND FEMALE CUSTOMERS TOO. IT VERY UNPROFESSIONAL TO TELL A CUSTOMER 3 DIFFERENT STORIES. SO ILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHOP AGAIN AND I DON'T RECOMMEND ANYONE ELSE EITHER. IF SO TAPE RECORD EVERY CONVERSATION WITH THEM AND YOU GET AT LEAST 3 DIFFERENT STORIES ABOUT YOUR VEHICLE.

Bill’s went so far above and beyond what any other body shop would do. When our insurance company wanted to total our truck, he stood shoulder to shoulder with us while going back and forth with the insurance company to try and fix our truck and offered a significantly more cost effective quote to fix it than any other body shop. Ultimately, the insurance company let us keep our truck and Bill took it upon himself to take the truck and make it look better than it looked BEFORE the accident, and he stayed true to his word.He kept us up to date on the progress with the truck and where it was at in the repair process, going out of his way to make sure we were satisfied with every aspect of the already stressful process. We won’t use any other body shop other than Bill’s! Highly recommend!
