I grew up across the street from Grandview Golf Course and in my youth I thought it was the greatest place on earth. I spent a lot of time on that course. As I got older the course changed. Sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worst. The house I grew up in is right at the distance many golfers can hit a drive. So at a certain point golfers hit balls into the yard. Course rules are of a ball is out of bounds, you drop one inbounds and play from the legal course.Well....The city of Anderson decided to remove the out of bounds fence along the street (Northshore Blvd.) and now golfers think the yard of the house I grew up in is part of the course, crossing the street and even driving their golf carts deep into the property that DOES NOT BELONG to the city. They hit their balls out of the yard and often cause damage to the property.Even had a police officer, yes one of Anderson's finest, hit a vehicle parked in the driveway and caused about 900 dollars with of damage. The public servant completely ignored the damage and claimed it couldn't be proven even though there were witnesses. They followed him up to the pro-shop only to be told by a group of officers they couldn't file a report because no one could prove he did it.So, Grandview Golf Course also ignored the complaint.Grandview Golf Course needs to reiterate the course rules regarding the properties across the street and here's an idea... Charge an insurance surcharge to every green fee for an insurance policy that will allow the residents across the street to file claims with Grandview when patrons of the course cause property damage and refuse to take responsibility. It is a shame employees of the city who are supposed to be public servants who are an example can ignore the responsibility of their power, and a golf course who enables it.

Tried to call and reachesule a tee time and never got a call back even though the course was still open. Tried to book a tee time on the website and never could log in even after I changed the password. This is a nice course but it's kind of hard to play when no one answers the phone and the website sucks.

Friendly people fun golf course to play not too long but you got to hit it straight and you got to hit the right irons into the greens cuz they're small. Couple really good par fours couple really good par 3s couple really good part 5S good time friendly atmosphere stop up at 1925 Pubhouse and check out the food

Really nice course with elevated tee shots and greens. Fairways are nice with hills making it challenging. And it's very hard to lose balls which is a great thing. Will play again.
