Chris and crew did a great job packing our 26’ moving truck for a move to Florida. The guys were great and packed the truck so well. Highly recommend John Mitchell Two Men and a Truck.

Chris, Cody, and Caiden helped move us to St.Louis , MO. (A5hour move over two states). They were outstanding from the moment they arrived and the moment they left. They were very efficient and knew just how to pack the trucks. They handled our antique furniture with care and wrapped those up securely. They worked well as a team and NEVER complained about moving the big pieces of furniture some of which went downstairs. They took apart the beds and put them back together in our new house. I would DEFINITELY recommend them for your moving needs. (We saw their business advertised at the Mounds State Park Christmas Holiday of Lights)

NEVER EVER AGAIN!! Used this company twice. First in 2022 and they were fantastic. Second was May 2025, and the office staff was horrible!!!
The movers buried a very very large original painting. It was the only thing in the garage when they got here and instead of asking if I wanted to move it so it wouldn’t get buried with what they needed to unload, they just buried it anyway. Three rows deep of boxes & household stuff etc. Well as I’m trying to get unpacked from moving, I noticed that everything that they put in front of it was actually touching it! I moved stuff out of the way to get to it and there was a 2in circle damage portion that stretched the canvas back. So now it has a permanent circle in it. This was an expensive piece of art. Well I called The movers and told them what happened and they said to send pics to a phone number. Luckily I had taken a picture of it “pre-movers without damage” in the empty garage so I had before & after pictures. A week went by no word from movers, I called 6 more times & left messages over a 3-week period.
I WAS COMPLETELY IGNORED FOR 3 WEEKS!!
So when they finally called, they said the painting it’s not covered until their insurance because they didn’t move it. Even better! You damage property that was already on site when makes you liable for the whole cost of it and not by your “per pound insurance equation”. They even mentioned there were dogs in the after-move picture that shows it was buried. Really? Yeah…there are 2 dogs standing in the garage. You think they damaged it until 5 feet deep full of stuff!! Laughable!! They were grasping at straws to not take the blame that was OBVIOUSLY THEIR FAULT. She did not grasp that one of the pictures that I sent her of the garage when it was full of stuff was taken AFTER they moved me in and that’s the way my garage was left by their movers.
Thinking about small claims as this was purchased at auction for $2500. It is a one of a kind painting, But apart from that, I’m more pissed about the way I was ignored for 3 weeks!!! They are super nicely-nicey but flip the script if you have issues after your move with PROVABLE DAMAGE!!
So yeah, I’m gonna look into small claims. I even have my friend as a witness as she was there all day and saw the painting the day before the move in perfect condition.
TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE YOUR COMPANY DOES!!

Have used John Mitchell for countless moves. They always over deliver. Today, had the pleasure of Kody, Brad and Blake help us with a 4 stop move. White glove service the whole day! Bravo!

Best company ever. And I don't say that lightly. I am a finicky person. I have work in customer service most my life, so wheni deal with a company I tend to be a little finicky.
But do to things out of my control while selling my house I did not only have to reschedule my move once but twice. And they rescheduled my move no question ask.
Had two of the best guys moving me. Chris and his son CJ were the best, had to leave for a few minutes to get my niece to the new place so my appliances could be delivered. And by the time I got back everything was almost done.
I just want to give this company and my movers a great big thanks for being so helpful on one of the tuffs days of my life.

I hired John Mitchell Moving/Two Guys and a Truck to move a piano on very short notice. Everyone, from the receptionist to all of the guys helping in the move, were thoroughly fantastic. Caring, great communication, got the job done quickly and well - I have nothing but positive things to say about this company and the employees. Thank you all again, I sincerely appreciate the amazing job you did!!

We did not have the best experience with this crew. Our bed frame was not put together correctly and then completely broke. Two of our dressers were broken as well. They did not take care when moving things on our carpet and left many stains to clean up. And we ended up moving a lot of boxes ourselves because we were told there was not enough room in the trucks.

I hired John Mitchell Moving to execute a complex move, involving three separate locations. Todd, Brad, and Derek showed up early, were extremely polite and professional, careful, and very efficient. They completed the job in less time than the estimate. Ann in the office was a pleasure to work with and gave me complete details prior to the move regarding the process. I highly recommend this company (and these individuals).

I recently contracted with John Mitchell Moving/Two Guys and a Truck. I had never hired a mover before so I didnt know what I was getting into. They were absolutely great. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and completed the job in less time than the estimate. They were very careful with my furniture. The price was reasonable. I was extremely pleased and would highly recommend them.

The team of Bill, Mikle & Ian we’re very courteous and efficient. We appreciate the care given and moving my mother’s furniture, etc. Speaking to the owner John & sales Marty, they very accurate and helpful. They are now part of the Penske team, which came recommended to us by our son.
